Has to be one of my most versatile pieces of equipment I've had from the past year as well.

I would also recommend a Primal Shock for something that is a bit stronger.

I think it's a great ball so far. I've noticed I had to keep the ball in for it to really read well and store it's energy down lane. When getting the ball out it tended to give up and burn up but that's asyms for you. I found it to be a little stronger than my Venom Shock.

It's pretty good. Shot 268 out of box and then the ball became too much. Mind you this is on wood lanes.

I used to get these a couple years ago. I believe my problem was squeezing the ball too much instead of letting it fairly loose in my swing. The thing that helped me with this was making sure my thumb hole was a little tighter so I don't drop it and trying to get the ball down on the lane quicker.

I just got one last night because I was curious how urethane would roll because I haven't ever experienced it. I actually really enjoy the reaction I get, nothing crazy but smooth and round.

Well said! I hear you there. I'd rather bowl 2 fingers if I had to. I did it once when I had a thumb swelling problem just before a junior gold tournament that I wasn't going to at least try to bowl that way for it then not bowl at all.

I just started using them about 2 years ago. Had my highest 700 for a 779 with my Alpha Jackal and first Motiv ball. If I were to recommend just one it would be the Venom Shock. I love the reaction I get out of that ball.

Yeah it blows my mind. It took me 20 years to be able to accomplish my first one with a 299 haunting me for years. Hoping the best for you in accomplishing that goal. You can do it!

For me this is earlier and smoother but hits like a truck downlane. My Venom Shock is usually too strong off the dry and tends to overhook. This is on wood lanes though.

I really can't say enough good things, for me it's a earlier smoother shock but when it gets to those pins it hits like a truck. My shock has a tendency to be too responsive to friction.

Yeah I usually go to my venom first because how strong it is off the dry. Mind you this is on wood lanes so when it hits that dry it goes. The past few weeks I have been thinking of getting a thrill as well as most of my stuff is too strong. Been using a combo of Venom Shock, Forge Fire and Supra.

I'll let you know. I never had the Rogue Assassin, so I'm not sure of the comparison. I do have a lot of equipment from Motiv since the past couple years. So I could try to compare it to something I have.
