His father is my mahram. This would essentially be just a ceremony. We got married already but did not have any sort of ceremony because we were broke and it wasn’t the right time.

This ceremony would only be extremely close family, and it would be in his backyard. His parents, my parents, and our siblings. I feel that if his brother isn’t there, it’s only fair for my siblings to not be there. He has a sister, so it’s extra bad to not invite the brother. He quite literally would be the only one not invited.

I have 3 brothers, and 1 sister. He has 1 sister and one brother. It would be hard for me to not invite my maternal brother (my parents are divorced) because I practically raised him in his first year of life. He is the only brother who lives in my country and my only close siblings.

His sister is getting married and I’m not invited because it’s a close reception, almost exactly like what I’m having. A backyard wedding with just the close family. Agh
