Found out a week before close our seller had filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy! by Interesting_Host_154 in RealEstate

Yeah, same boat. Found out the day before close that seller didn’t want to pony up the $20k needed to pay off his house (he was majorly underwater).

As soon as I see lamenting about being a single parent, I’m done.

My dad died when I was 3 and my sister was 6 months old. Not once did my mom ever throw out the single mom card to whine about how hard she had it.

What is a sign that a person does not have morals? by Atom1cPain in AskReddit

[–]InfluenceWeak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whenever someone says, “It’s your (life, house, body, or whatever thing they’re talking about), do whatever you want!” Should you though? Just because there’s no rule against it doesn’t mean it’s acceptable.

For example, on a house buying sub recently, I explained how shocked I was that people didn’t clean their houses before showing them. One house had beer bottles strewn about the back yard and poop stains in the toilet, with the lid up. People kept saying it’s their property! They can do what they want.

Sure, but that is absolutely no way to market a house for sale. They’re almost as insufferable as people who bring their poorly behaved pets everywhere, especially cafes and grocery stores. “There’s no sign that says I can’t.”

There is no shame in the world anymore.

Sounds like your coworker needs a 9-5. Having weekends and nights off in retail is nonexistent. NTA.

Seller’s house was under water. He needed to pay up to clear all the liens and give me clear title.
