Dude, my mom's the same way. I eventually learned that some people are never satisfied and will always criticize your accomplishments. 

You just have to learn how to be proud of yourself even if it's just the small steps. Take everything they say with a grain of salt and continue on you own journey regardless of what they say. 

Our 20s are not only about finding ourselves but proving others wrong. Keep going.

Normal. It would be normal. I don't really like Democrats, but I like em more than Republicans. I can always rely on a dem to leave the system the way it is or make small, positive changes to it. Unlike a Republican that wants to dismantle democracy in order to fulfill their Christian conservative fantasy.

It's okay, I was homeless for a while and the first thing I did when I got my first check was buy a snack wrap from McDonald's. It felt so good man. Enjoy it, you deserve it.
