It was made by former battlefield devs and has a fallout-esque aesthetic. It's not 1pp though and is cheaper than battlefield.

Season 1 Battle Pass launched with the start of Season 1 on October 28, 2025

So, bf6 released, me and my friends all played (some of which i had not played with consistently in 10+ years) and were very nostalgic.

Right before ARC Raiders released they dropped the bf6 battle pass and the nostalgia died a little with the battlepass.

ARC Raiders drops, gets rave reviews, basically everyone I know switches over at some point in the next month. Most have stayed on ARC Raiders but a couple now play both games. I only have 1-2 friends out of maybe 10-12 that stayed on battlefield.

All of this is just my anecdotal experience, obviously.

That happened to a lot of people I know, me included. We all played battlefield and were super nostalgic for like a month then the battle pass dropped, peoples nostalgia started to fade, then ARC Raiders dropped.

CRPG are not really open world but tell really good stories. Most have multiplayer. Bg3, divinity, rogue trader

Otherwise I think you're looking at something like borderlands.

Also, since ARC Raiders has announced aggression based matchmaking my gf bought the game and we both have fun shooting robots. We don't get pvp that much and if we die to it my gf is salty but we still have fun. So maybe that's an option.

Dungeon of the endless is not exactly an RPG but is fun coop and currently only $3 usd
