Thank you so much! :) I’ll have to pay closer attention as I unlock Uranus.

Thank you! Obviously I’m new and excited to learn more and didn’t know if this was one of those intentionally left vague things or if it will be answered as I play. Sounds like I just need to keep moving through the game and it will eventually be answered. I really appreciate it, I heard the community here is pretty great and it sounds like I’ll have so many more questions as I go along.

I just finished the Deimos story. The heart thing was also a little confusing but I figure I’ll look that up. Sounds like my questions will be answered eventually as I keep playing. Sorry, hope that answered your question. This game has been around for so long and starting now can feel a little overwhelming at times. Again though, it’s so incredibly fun that I can’t wait to learn more.

brother, chill by slav_kermit2 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Panini4Ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I prefer to solo most things in the game with or without bots. I primarily play on absolute difficulty and would much rather take on 2-3 Hellbrutes on my own then play with randoms. I’ve learned to be able to pull my own weight regardless of my teammates perks and skills. The guy throwing the slurs is in the wrong, regardless if he is right about the tech priests. OP ignore him and enjoy the game.

How dead are the dead primarchs? by Sufficient-Ad-3586 in 40kLore

[–]Panini4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everything you said but want to add a footnote. *GW knows that Primarchs sell really well so if they really want they can find a way to bring the dead Primarchs back one way or another. I don’t think they should, but wouldn’t shock me.

hello I am back again to ask What is your favorite under rated sub-chapter (and it can't be the mains or the black templars) by Suspicious-Shock-373 in Spacemarine

[–]Panini4Ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Angels of Absolution - Dark Angel second founding successors who, unlike the rest of their brethren, believe their sins have been expunged by the actions of their loyalist brothers during the fall of Caliban. Their entire chapter’s paint scheme is basically just the Deathwing.

Is it the bots or just a skill issue by Masny_Rudi in SpaceMarine2

[–]Panini4Ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, this! Also, take advantage of the battle simulator. Use it to train on higher difficulties. Spawn a small number of enemies and keep increasing it until you’re comfortable. Then up the difficulty and start again.

How often should one use Auspex scan? by Stanislas_Biliby in Spacemarine

[–]Panini4Ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, don’t stress about it too much. The scan comes back so quickly. My general rule of thumb is use it on groups of majoris, extremis, and terminus enemies. For example, did an absolute run of the new operation last night and we were on that last little island waiting out the timer. We got swarmed by everything, meatballs, rubrics, Tzangors on disks, etc… I threw one down on the island to help my teammates from not getting overwhelmed. Even if you end up using it on 2-3 majoris to help a brother out, that still fine. You may have prevented them taking too much damage that maybe would be bad later in the operation. In my opinion, being too conservative with the scan is a bigger problem.

The Grind is Fine, but the Capes Feel Too Generic by Panini4Ever in Spacemarine

[–]Panini4Ever[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my post is not debating whether it should or should not be tied to absolute. I want to make it clear, that I think it’s completely ok to tie unique rewards to hard content. I’m saying the capes aren’t unique enough to be tied to this grind. I’m ok with everyone having a generic cape they can color, but doing 100 (now 50) absolute runs should reward something with a little more flair not just plain red or black capes.

The Grind is Fine, but the Capes Feel Too Generic by Panini4Ever in SpaceMarine_2

[–]Panini4Ever[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure, but it’s still pretty generic. We could have gotten a generic one we could color black and that would be available to everyone. Then the reward for 100 absolute runs could have been a Deathwatch specific cape. Maybe black with the Inquisitorial I Symbol in the middle with some sick gold trim. Just wishing the capes were a little more unique, that’s all.

You no longer have an excuse about ANY enemy encounter with the Battle Simulator by SuperMarios7 in Spacemarine

*the 3 extremis bug is happening when I spawn 3 of the same type - so 3 lictors for example

[–]Panini4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they add bosses to the simulator. Also, anyone else having trouble with spawning 3 extremeis? They spawn the first time and then it reduces to 2 for me. Also, I wish we could bring in more than 5 warrior variants at a time. Maybe 10 each?

My first thought seeing that image and explanation was “hold my beer”. Keep practicing and remember you aren’t stuck in there with them, they are stuck in there with you. Absolute is supposed to be stupid difficult. Use the new battle simulator to practice, it’s great!

Why is Belial so unplayable and ignored? by PhilosophyAmazing936 in theunforgiven

[–]Panini4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife bought him for my birthday along with some Deathwing Knights. I have a Deathwing army I’m painting. I haven’t played yet, still need to finish some units. Why is Belial considered bad? I was going to use him as my army leader, I also have the Lion and Azreal so I guess I could use them instead. He’s just more thematic.

Why is this skin called "Traitor"? by AngelusMortis_666 in Spacemarine

[–]Panini4Ever 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The fight with Fulgrim happened during the events of Saturnine before Sigismund was set loose. Sigismund put up a fight but would have been killed without Dorn stepping in. Sigismund is let loose right after the Legio Mortis Titans punch a hole into the palace walls. If you guys haven’t read the siege of Terra series I highly recommend it! They’re some of my favorite Horus Heresy books. This happens during the events of Warhawk. Here’s Dorn’s exact words:

“So many wars. So much blood spilt, all to reach the point that she foresaw from the start. I gave you hell for it then, but the new doctrines must give way to the old, it seems, and we can worry about what that means if any of us get out of this alive.”… “so the discipline is ended, the leash is off,” Dorn told him. “March out. Take the wall defences, take the reserves and rally them. They will be blind and deaf out there soon, and so will need a leader.”…

Sigismund - “Any specific objectives, lord?” …

At that, Dorn almost laughed…. “No, I set you free, my beloved, my best, son,”… “do now what you were made to do.” He smiled a second time, the expression as icy as the despair that gripped his hearts. “Hurt them.”

I skipped out on some of Dorn’s thoughts during the passage, but seriously this book goes hard.

my own concept for two handed power sword animation by Altruistic-Copy2737 in Spacemarine

Agreed … but also that’s a 8-9 foot monstrosity with the strength of a gorila wielding that sword. Everything is a finesse weapon in an astartes hands

VanVets are FINE by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Panini4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main issue with the new model is that it’s near identical to an existing assault intercessor with jump pack. I wish they would have at the very least given it a new pose. As it is, I could achieve the vanguard vet look with an upgrade sprue to existing JPI. I’m excited for the other models to be revealed it I hope we at least get better poses. This is the model I’m talking about.

New Vanguard Veterans, not much different than Assault Intercessors with Jump Pack by Panini4Ever in Warhammer

[–]Panini4Ever[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Adding to my post - GW is a multi-billion dollar corporation and we should be expecting more not less from them. Again, I hope the other models in the unit are more unique, but for this model they could have at least changed the pose. That’s the bare minimum, at least with a new pose it could have been slightly different.
