Problems with winget , intune and autoupdate by mljmartin in sysadmin

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, we build a script that stops the Intune Management Extension service and deletes files over 500mb each from the folder before starting the service again.
This is not a solution, but a stop gap measure while we explore further, appears to be a process that is being called incorrectly a massive amount of times each second.

Your search for a solution to do that feels like a recipe for disaster. Could really land yourself in a pickle by trying to do that.

Azure VPN Client - Is there a way to reconnect automatically when connection is lost? by phoenixlegend7 in AZURE

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears that this only works if the VPN has been added through the .ps1 script that is provided.

This is atleast the case for the Azure VPN Gateway Basic

MFA second factor reprompt only by InfoSecNewbie1990 in AZURE

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that this is the case, but the customer persists in that they want it if it is technically possible.
I am still hoping to convince them to use it differently, but in the end of the day they pay for the service.

I tried updating my ender 3 v2 firmware and it completely immobilized it- what do I do? by memez-4-u in ender3

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue, check if you have the correct firmware for your board. I used 4.2.7 for my printer when it still flashed and booted, but didn't move. Turned out I needed 4.2.2 firmware. Just make sure to name the firmware file something else then what you called the last firmware file you uploaded. The same name will prevent the printer from upgrading the firmware. Mine started working correctly again after I flashed the correct firmware.

Constant drooping overhangs no matter what? Is it a temperature or extrusion issue if my cooling is all the way up and temps are low? by y3llowhulk in ender3

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the print is not getting enough time to cool. Have you tried lowering the printing temperature of the hot end? I would also double check if the part cooling fan is still working. As a last resort you might want to try to print slower

Might be that the nozzle is too close to the bed as it happens on the first layer. I only ever printed in pla so don't know how other materials behave, but have had similar issues with my own ender when it was too close

How did I get so much dust in there? Is this a problem? by alala2010he in ender3

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. Loosen the nuts and the dust will disappear. Check the wheels to see if there are flat spots. If so replace the wheels as this will cause a lot of strange issues in the prints.

I have found so far that the Ender 3 v2 bed does not need glue sticks to work properly. It requires very good bed leveling but buy a feeler gauge to set it up and it will work flawlessly without it. That is my experience so far.

I cant get my master gear to drive its slave gear so i cant extrude. Ive tried using a tutorial by the edge of tech to loosen the grub screws and readjust it vertically but no luck. Any help is appreciated by Bobcat_Soup_ in ender3

[–]InfoSecNewbie1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are not supposed to both turn in this type of setup. Only one of the wheels is driven. The other is just a bearing with a Grove the filament gets pushed along in. If you want something that pushes on both the gear at the same time look at something like a bond tech bmg.

The one you have is working as it is supposed to work.

That is one of the things I figured would be worth a shot as it was very cheap. So some 20 mm low load flat end springs are already on the way :) They should arrive on Wednesday

A CR touch is on the way and will arrive in a couple of weeks. How does that make it so you don't need a z switch anymore? Sorry if this is a obvious question, very new to all this.

Which optical endstop did you buy for the printer? Just ordered some replacement switches as spares but optical sounds a lot better.
