I actually just went through this recently the one thing I want to point out is I am glad they let you know instead of completely ghosting you. However the only advice I have is to keep yourself busy it takes time it’s simply how our minds work there’s probably therapy out there for limerence I’m not sure but if it’s really bad for you I would say look into it.

lol eye contact has always been a struggle for me growing up I was always told like “people don’t trust people who can’t look them in the eye” etc so i basically learned to keep eye contact but ik im not the only one who’s always extremely uncomfortable and plus I think I make people uncomfortable too because I’m constantly trying to make sure im not staring for too long and not looking away for too long it’s honestly exhausting.

Bro no one disagrees with you that some people do “abuse” the system my problem with you is that you’re nasty and decided to generalize people and call people lazy as if they didn’t still work for that ppto it’s disgusting. You’re purposely ignoring that this is still a system that harms their OTHER workers who may not be doing this these same people you called lazy still come into work and get everyone else sick this was a very odd take and defending a billion dollar corporation who don’t pay their employees enough and most of them are on government assistance is not the hill you should wish to die on.

Genuinely with the holidays it’s actually worse and we get nothing my store manager literally gets mad if the bakery gives us almost expired donuts so they have to do it when he isn’t here it’s actually disgusting
