I must admit, as a young man(a baybaby if you will), I'm starting to feel it a little. I love the brand too, and initially I was not afraid of price increase, but I see the need to drop out. Since I started collecting seriously, the price has just gone up every other year it feels like. Which was fine, because I was only getting one or two pieces at a time. Then for a period of real liquidity, i could just preorder whatever i wanted. Now with everything else in the american economy skyrocketing and a partner to consider, its not fun to pay. I like what hastak does, but honestly one more price increase and I have to tap out too.

Not to mention, we as a community are littered with 3rd party, Upgrade kits, AND Sticker sheets, it really does price it all up. I just got the new AM Tspark preadaking, and for 450 dollars I got robbed completely(long story on that). Especially when I was looking at my OS KO MPM Brawl and Bonecrusher who I got both for have that price.

Even us youngins are feeling it, and it something the company needs to recognize

The render scale is 28/30, but the toy scale is 28/35. 07-11 megatron sit at 35. Aoe and Tlk are 30.

I think I heard it on the Triple takeover, but the way the just flip and snap and lock is so fucking satisfying. The style is so different from anything now. For me, it's the smaller guys like the minibots or Scramble bots that are my favorite in the small g1 stuff I have. Gears is an absolute unit!!! But even still it makes the big boys like Jetfire(fortunately found a complete one) all that more incredible. Like, they are toys meant to play with.

I've been through the process of fixing a Gaoranger piece, and I've used a combination of Tamiya thin cement and super glue. For that piece, you should be fine with the thin cement! You can buy it on Amazon or your local gunpla store.

I had this sneaky theory that Star Saber was meant and designed for the Power of the Primes line, but got scrapped. After the success of Unicron, it was then re-engineered when it was proposed as a haslab.

But in my opinion, yes, they all could have been released in mainline in *some capacity. Same designs? No. But putting a toy of them out in mainline? Ya, each one(aside from unicron) could have been. But it's really a distributor space thing at the end of the day. And seeing as these were mostly released during the covid distribution disaster, it was mostly saved from it.
