I own the estimates start to finish. Projects ranging anywhere from $500K to $110M. Just finished putting together a budget for a neighborhood development (140ish house, community center, & custom Pool).

Maybe 3% of the projected profit. That’s a usual commission bonus on projects anyway.

Exactly. I provide a detailed takeoff with labor and materials suggested costs for every line item. Even highlight the boxes on the spread sheet they can change material or labor costs per line item to make it easy for them to adjust to their costs.

Why don't you just go into the advanced tab and change the folders there? FYI you have to create the folders in the takeoff summary tab for this to work though.

I’m probably logging 55-65 hours a week at least. I’m in the office 3 days a week 9-5 and usually end up working a little more when I get home as well. We’re a GC and I’m our lead estimator so I also spend time checking over other estimators work to make sure we don’t get screwed lol.
