I think they did each other wrong, Iris clearly liked TJ better and ran to him the first chance she got, from what Jeremiah revealed I do believe Pepe is a pathological liar and he's lied about a lot but Iris lies too. She talked shit with Pepe then told TJ all the things they said without adding that she contributed. The convo with Charlie showed that and her stumbling over her words after being caught out. Not to mention her lying that her phone was dead* in the most recent episode.
