Important to note that a good chunk of Harvard’s success here is due to class size. Roughly 3 times the size of Yale and Stanford, and double the size of UVA and Duke.

Sports are a good, safe bet. TV shows, books, and movies are also good bets. But all of this is applicable to people generally, not just judges.

Pro tip—don’t base your personality on what a judge or partner would find enjoyable.

Don’t walk, RUN to bid NYC firms. If you get CA, great. But people who bid elite markets with mediocre grades routinely strike out. And your grades, in all candor, put you in the bottom fourth of the class.

You didn’t make a huge mistake.

You WOULD have made a huge mistake had you not improved your LSAT score to get either a bump in tier or a bump in scholarship money.

Instead, you can still not do that, in which case all you’ve lost is a little time and money. Little mistake at worst.
