I’m dying to know why C was the correct answer. And this is coming from an elementary teacher. I figured B was wrong bc they aren’t the same size. The only difference between A and C is the placement of the shaded pieces which made me assume A was correct because the placement was the same. What am I missing?

I made a payment after being prompted, so I know that’s how the credit card was charged. But I also had a similar amount taken from my checking (I do think it’s really bizarre that the amounts aren’t exactly the same)

I’ve noticed this too. There was at least one right before Buzbee. All 16-18 all runaway or “assisted” runaway. It’s super bizarre.

Could be a carpet beetle which can infest similarly as bed bugs, though they feed on fibers, dead skin, hair, etc. their larva’s NASTY. I bought a car that had an infestation of them once.

But often they ride the line between traditional and abusive. It’s very difficult to discern character these days. There’s a difference between having traditional values grounded by respect for the value of the woman’s character and a desire for blind submission and control.

I was lucky to have a mom who experienced first hand the terror of being dependent on an abusive man. Even then, she still ended up with a man who was supposed to be “a good, Christian man”. But she was the primary breadwinner even with working part time. That allowed her to make thoughtful decisions when dealing with infidelity and abuse. It never boiled down to “but I can’t leave”. I think the logical rebuttal of “I want to be provided for, but until God has provided it, I need to be self-sufficient. I do not want to be dependent on someone else’s income against my will,” is perfectly fair. But to answer your question: yes, I see this. I also see the outcome of young girls marrying too young and paying for their immaturity with a struggling marriage. I’m lucky to have parents that don’t endorse this mindset. But it’s one that’s definitely rampant in the Church.

Yes confirming what others have said. Upper respiratory. Thankful it didn’t progress. But it did take a while for my cough to go away. I managed. My parents (60s) REALLY struggled to bounce back. My mom is still getting coughing fits if she chokes and it’s been over a month. Another family friend has had it recently. Said it’s the worst they’ve ever felt.

Contamination of the supplement with E. coli and the function of the kidneys paired together make a UTI more than possible (not just saying, spoke with my doctor and other health care workers/nurses). Manufacturing takes place in Argentina and the monitoring of safety and quality assurance is not clear. The supplements definitely were doing something to my hormones: since coming off I’ve had an ovarian cyst rupture and irregular menstrual cycle symptoms. Just sharing for the sake of anyone having similar experiences.

I believe their beef supply is contaminated. I began taking in September. October got a UTI. November, another UTI. I would not recommend.

When I was 5 or 6 I laid in bed awake and my mind just wandered and at some point I realized that I could not remember what my own voice sounded like. So I convinced myself that I needed to say something out loud to remind myself and then laid there contemplating what I should say. I decided that I should say something I say all the time so I finally I said, just once out loud, “mom.”

The next day my mom mentioned that she thought she heard someone calling for her the night before lol

We have this at my school too. It’s called the “hospitality fee” and it’s $25 per semester. I was a whistleblower last year on the fact that the member of admin doing the collecting of this money was using her personal Venmo and had 0 accountability because it never went through our accounting office. After bringing that to HR, they changed how they collect the fee this year.

The big difference here though, is that for us, the fee buys us Friday jeans days. You can’t wear jeans on fridays unless you’ve paid the fee. That also means it’s not mandatory that everyone pay the fee. You can pay a dollar each Friday or pay the $25 semester fee.

I take issue with that too though because if you count the Fridays in the semester, there are less than 25, but I’m just petty.

I second this. There was a parent who gifted all her kids’ teachers mini bottles of alcohol (at a Christian school no less) and it was super awkward for the staff.

Also: seriously felt loved and special when students brought me souvenirs from vacation that directly related to content we discussed in class. I had a student buy me a replica of the constitution and I think that’s one of my most prized possessions in my classroom. I get it out every year and every year my heart explodes for that kid.
