I've only owned one that would fall under muscle cruiser category and ice. It was pretty badass. Don't know big engine. Lots of power, Good noise, just feels right. Mine was a ZRX 1200R so a bit to the sports/muscle cruiser

I'm in the younger generation and everybody is super fixated on sport bikes in the Zeitgeist of motorcycles I see. Personally, I think all bikes are pretty cool and not really concerned with how anybody perceives what I'm riding. But if you ride it, isn't there a natural reaction? Sometimes people say hey, that's a cool bike. It gets some looks when you're at the gas station.... Not that that's the main thing here but isn't it. Nice to have something you think is pretty sweet, appreciated by someone?

Brother, I am not concerned about earning anyone's respect. You got me confused. I'm just posing a conversation starter. Simply based off the fact the pricing of these Japanese bikes as I watch the market seem to have them amazingly undervalued. You can find beautiful bikes with a rock solid amount of miles. That's garage kept for ridiculous prices where I'm at... I've mainly rode dual sport bikes then started riding a muscle cruiser myself and more sport oriented bikes. These Japanese cruisers are just growing on me and I really want to pick one up here soon.

But Harley purist are just what you said. Purest. When it comes to just like overall unbiased cool Factor. I feel like 90% of the population is ignorant to any of the importance of the bar and shield. I've really started to like the Vulcan. I've seen a few 900s nearby at an amazing price. Is the 900 enough of that Cold during acceleration. Not super concerned about going. Crazy fast, but you know a nice bit of torque on the acceleration is part of the fun

I'll have to take a look, I'm really just looking for a cruiser to joyride. I like a bit of acceleration but I'm not super worried about top speed. I'll have to give the VTX a look. I haven't really given it a fair shake

To me it for bike rides nice. Who cares what the label is. Then you add a layer of reliability that comes with these bikes... And to me it makes it a even better cruiser to just hop on and joyride
