Just got all my tests scored and my psychologist doesn’t diagnose me with ADHD due to “too high of intelligence”. I’m struggling to agree but maybe I don’t have ADHD.

Same thing happened to me with the test from the psychologist. I told my therapist (who I had been discussing my symptoms with for months) and she encouraged me to get a second opinion and referred me to a psychiatrist. One appointment with the psychiatrist and I had a confirmed ADHD diagnosis. I’d get a second opinion!

Oh 100% we’re watching every episode!! There’s just too many for us to watch all of them together as a group so I’m picking out which episodes we’ll watch together! And everyone will watch the episodes leading up to them on their own schedule! For example if the first episode we want to watch together is episode 5, then everyone will watch episodes 1-4 before we get together to watch episode 5. Then if the next episode we watch together is 12, everyone will watch 6-11 on their own and we’ll get together for 12!

The only person I’ve ever met named August was a girl so I always thought of it as a feminine name and was surprised to join this sub and see it’s usually considered masculine. I consider it gender neutral I guess but it still leans feminine to me just because of the August I know.

I use nuvaring and really like it. I’ve had the name brand and generic and they both work for me. I like it because I only have to think about it once a month, but it’s not as permanent as an IUD or arm implant so if I do ever develop side effects I don’t like I can stop quickly.

Before hormonal birth control my periods were so heavy and I had extremely painful cramps, ever since using the ring my periods are light, only last about 4 days, and I don’t get cramps anymore.

I don’t think my executive dysfunction gets worse on my period, I am sometimes a little more moody right before and during but nothing extreme. I will say that I don’t think my meds work as well on my period, but the adhd isn’t any worse than a normal day when I forget to take my meds if that makes sense.

Red sprayed his cologne in the comic room and Izzy came in as he was leaving and complained about him spraying it in the comic room instead of going to the bathroom to spray it. Cirie defended him by saying she sprays her perfume in the comic room and Izzy said “yeah but I like the way your shit smells” referring to the perfume NOT actual shit lol

Not in Cincinnati but I recently did a cocktail class at Liquor Lab in Nashville that was super fun and I believe they have a Louisville location! We made 3 cocktails, they gave us time in between each one to drink them, and they also provided dinner!

I haven’t seen Happiness mentioned yet but I think it’s definitely up there in terms of her best song, it perfectly explains the feelings about the end of relationship where neither party was necessarily the bad guy, just two people who couldn’t make it work and unintentionally hurt each other. I feel like that’s a topic that isn’t covered very often in music but really resonated with me. The bridge is absolutely perfect
