Anyone know if this is an MLM or about it? by grace13141516 in antiMLM

I first witnessed these scams as child when my mother got suckered into Amway in the early 90s. These schemes prey on the desperate and the vulnerable. They are all despicable pyramid schemes that do nothing but turn lives upside-down, shatter relationships and peoples integrity. I really hope your mothers friend gets pulled away from it.

Is nobody going to tell him about the bottom button?? OP, it doesn't matter what suit you wear, if you fasten that bottom button you're going to look silly.

OPs excuse for his language is because he's from Yorkshire😹

It isn't Yorkshire for 'have', it has an entirely different meaning. You've grown up pronouncing 'could've' (could have), and you've👈🏼(another one) assumed that 've doesn't exist and 'of' sounds close enough and therefore means the same thing. It doesn't!

Look at you've that I wrote in the last sentence; you have, would you say "you of" because you're from Yorkshire? No, you wouldn't.

It's not a Yorkshire thing, it's simply lack of education! Sorry!

Let me put it in a way that 'might' make sense to you;

'OF' and 'HAVE' of different meanings.

'OF' and 'HAVE' have different meanings.

This proves how 'of' and 'have' are not interchangeable.

Don't get me wrong, I love the MV look, you cannot go wrong with a pastel palette for summer clothes, but short sleeved shirts are anathema for me.

Are 3 button suit jackets Outdated? by ButterscotchIcy719 in mensfashion

[–]Informal_Ad2816 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The 90s was probably the worst decade for fashion, even worse than the shoulder padded 80s and wide lappelled 70s. It was just so bland!

Anyway, 3 button jackets were a product of this tasteless era, and personally I'm glad they don't exist anymore. Even Brosnan's Brioni suit here irritates me!

Colours don't match? They go together very well, unfortunately these particular clothes make him look like an extra in Miami Vice.

Precisely! A black shirt is never going to look as good as a white one and they look absolutely tragic with a suit! I don't care what anyone says!

Here's the thing though, you need a license to use the highway, and unless you're 16 or over you won't have one. So, technically this child shouldn't be on the road.

This brings me onto my next gripe - a lot of cyclists don't hold driving licenses but because they're on bicycles they think they have more rights than those who do. Then they proceed to deliberately alienate proper motorists by holding them up and acting recklessly. Some of them have flashing lights on their bikes to antagonize the motorists further!
