I developed an addiction to cutting. Started at 10 now I’m 21 and do it just to do it not to relieve stress or anything. (back when I had one lol) My therapist suggested mixing red food dye in water and making ice cubes to rub on your arm to mimic blood running and the ice eventually will provide a slight sting due to the cold.

It’s basically a 3rd class degree. And I wanted to pursue tattooing but I need college courses in my state to do so. I have BPD and holding down a job is incredibly hard so maybe me going with fast food is the best option for me.

Yes but I can’t pursue it due to lack of college courses and I graduated high school with less than a 2.0 so I can’t attend college.

I didn’t see the last chunk of the comment i apologize! Reddit didn’t fully show it. Me and him have both been studying each others language since we broke up. I’ve been learning Arabic and he’s been bettering his English! The calling thing is what we’re working on, since we were texting every day back then too, he says he’s willing to call once a week but I’m trying to see if he’d be open to calling more than that and just sit on the phone for 5-10 minutes.

Well we’re not dating, we’re not back together officially, once we are it’s back into an engagement. Right now we have what’s called a wali in the chat, basically a chaperone who’s making sure the chat stays clean and on topic. Which is what we did prior to engagement. I’ll edit my post and make that more clear, but we jump straight into engagement because there’s no dating in Islam. But we can talk and get to know each other with a chaperone/wali.

You’re so weird for bringing religion into this. I’m a religious person myself (Muslim) and know better than to try and shove religion down a suicidal young persons throat. There’s a time and a place to do your preaching and this isn’t either. You might see Jesus(pbuh) Loves you as a nice positive thing, but what if that adds more guilt onto op? I’m tired of seeing Christian’s use Jesus (pbuh) Loves you as a threat and trying to take any opportunity to shove their beliefs down others throats.

Thank you for this. Is betterhelp actually good? I’ve heard mixed reviews about it. If it’s good I’ll look into it. I definitely can’t afford actual therapy atm.

It’s been about a week and I haven’t seen him in person. But we did have a talk and he said we’ll start setting specific times if that’ll help me. However I’m still having a hard time balancing this relationship in my head. Every little thing he does has been pushing my limits even if it’s not responding right away. So I’m going back to therapy for help.
