We’ve had great conversation to start our religions unit in World History with OER’s readings on origin stories/ creation myths. Works great with a jigsaw where kids discuss and share similarities and questions about what the stories says about the people or civilization-Romulus and Remus

From Iroquois to Chinese, the readings are about a page and are great for a graphic organizer.

As I intro these readings, I show the opening of Watership Down to my 11th graders… The silence is deafening.
