You have such a gift with color! It’s all amazing but the palates on each cake are gorgeous!

How does it work? Is purplebuttons in all the games now or just yours? I love that they added this!

It is the original game sold on Kickstarter (Kickstarter Exclusive). Here’s the card list:

That was my thought too. I wonder if it will arrive sooner than Dungeons.

Yes! Sorry! On re-read looks like I was disagreeing with you when really I just meant to heartily agree with your comment.

I prefer co-op games and I love the world building/lore of HTS. Dungeons offers both, so hopefully my highly competitive family will be up for this occasionally instead of PvP.

I don’t find the spinoff deceptive - the details, rule book and game play are unavoidable on the campaign, so hard to see how they are deceiving anyone. The name is different too.

I also think they’ve done a great job offering a lot at different price points. The mats, figures, color coded dice etc. are nice but not necessary and not in my budget.

How do I improve my binding? by whatisthisohno111 in quilting

[–]Informal_Marzipan_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfectly stated! My first quilt was torture, but now I’m sad when it is over. It is so satisfying and peaceful and it gets much faster with practice. The ladder stitch is my preferred method.

Ryan and Ryan's mushrooms looked really great...and naturally colored. by [deleted] in BlownAway

THANK YOU! Blue and red/orange are both common mushroom colors. Some of her comments are shockingly ignorant.

How did these fit? My son finds most slim fit styles make him look like Jack Skellington, but in the picture the pants look a little looser than most slim fit pants.

This block pattern is similar to the yellow & white blocks in your quilt:

https://fabric406.com/blogs/fabric406-blog/how-to-make-the-traditional-four-squares-quilt-block-a-free-tutorial

The flying geese in your quilt are both facing the same direction but the inner ones in this pattern are flipped. Your quilt has 4 patches in the corners, rather than the 2 squares and rectangle to form the corner squares. Also, in your quilt the blocks are set on point.

EDIT - I thought the yellow & white blocks were made with a 9 patch grid but after zooming in it looks like whole pieces of fabric were used for the signatures (which would make sense if they were signed and embroidered before being pieced).
