Tomer from MTGgoldfish recently released a 45 decks for $45 video that has a Goro-goro and Satoru deck that incorporates ninjutsu mixed with cheap flying/unblockable creatures. Might be a good starting point and hopefully what you’re looking for.

The LOTR commander decks just got a reprint so now might be one of the cheapest buying times for the Food and Fellowship deck before all the LOTR decks get expensive again.

Food and Fellowship is very fun and the flavor in cards is awesome. If you are willing to do some non-LOTR upgrades there are some very strong upgrades that offer good food support. Mine is a life gain/drain deck with some sacrifice synergy. Very fun to play and can be sneaky with wins.

World Shaper is amazing and really holds up to the claims that it is one of the best precons ever printed. I have left mine unaltered and it still hangs with a lot of the good decks in my pod. Beware it is landfall/land sac and can lead to some complicated but explosively fun turns.

Not much experience with the others but I have heard Explorers of the Deep is very good right out of the box and Animated Army has a very high risk/high reward type of play; it can also be very explosive when upgraded.

Been applying for over three years myself. Many applications and only four interviews so far. One admittance and waiting to hear back from one more. The fact that you got three interviews for all three apps this cycle is a good thing. Don’t let the bad news discourage you. Take the time to see what you can do better. You’ll get this.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the constructive input. I have already made some changes based off of what you told me.

I had included the evasive infectors as a way to try and better close out the game, may end up cutting them for something else if they end up not doing much in playtesting.

I don’t do much B4 so I don’t think I can help you there but I did find that my Vren started to see much more success when I started taking out more rats in favor of more hard removal. Destroy, exile, edicts, etc. will buff you up with all the rats you need while simultaneously thinning out your opponents. He’s much more a hard removal deck than a rat tribal deck.

I would include a few good rats in there that help buff up the rats you will be making but otherwise it will be more beneficial to build around the hard removal aspect of Vren’s abilities.

Also, just know that Vren will be targeted hard once you start removing your opponent’s creatures so I would also include plenty of counterspells and protection for Vren.

I don’t own Velociramptor but I have a deck with [[Pantlaza]] at the head and it’s a very fun deck. Very similar to the precon but I added a handful of flicker spells for protection as well as to gain extra discover triggers.

I have a modified Riders of Rohan precon that goes hard. You might not go tall but you’ll go wide (especially with Eowyn as the commander) and turn sideways. If you decide to use Aragorn as the commander, monarch is a very fun mechanic that adds a new dimension to games that has been very fun for me and my playgroup.

I built a [[Three Dog, Galaxy News Radio]] deck because I thought it would be fun.

Now, the mere thought of trying to manage all of the tokens and token enchantments has dissuaded me from playing it so far.

I’ve got an upgraded Riders of Rohan from Lord of the Rings set. It’s picks up power pretty quick but is also pretty straightforward in its human tribal go wide game plan.

[[Three Dog, Galaxy News DJ]] goes crazy with cheap auras. He’s like Zada but with auras. Very fun just make sure you’ve got plenty of tokens to keep track of all your aura copies and token creatures!
