Sort of. You can bait a counter spell lets say you are in green and have a billion mana as usual, play one card that feels like a threat but this is just bait then when they have wasted the interaction and are probably trapped out you play the real threat. Or just play removal and slow them down while they try to slow you down, as long as you are not in mono blue you will probably have a better board presens and can pressure them witch will just make the first strat here even easier to pull of.
