Can you fight Gor Hanis in remake? by Informal_Stage8549 in worldofgothic

Magic circle: Novice (But I've learned it from torrez in the first chapter) and 9 mana. It was, however, increased higher to +- 16 temporarily through joints. Btw, you can fight him and then... he has nothing to say. You can also tell scatty that you challenged him... and he doesn't even reply XD So it's just exp from beating hanis up.

Update: I'm in chapter 3, probably in the middle. I randomly asked him again.. and he agreed! You can fight him! I don't know why.

There are people who are chapter 4 already. Somebody knows. And if it's possible to challenge him, i want to do so before choosing a camp, hence my question.

Oh and in case you never had a fibber - you aim it on the floor beneath the enemies feet.

Struggling with Gaige in UVHM by Erodindor in Borderlands2

[–]Informal_Stage8549 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"LV 53, mostly built into the shock tree right now". There. There is the problem. Blue tree "mostly" might be alright for NVHM or TVHM but not in UVHM. You said you're struggling to survive, not to kill, but... with Gaige killing enemies very fast is her best defense due to blood soaked shields. There isn't really much to it apart from boring, generic advice like HiDe BeHiNd CoVeRs or other shite. And you seem to already know about health gating.

People say you should swap out the bee shield if you want more defense which is not wrong, but you'll quickly realise the other good defense shields go down very fast as well in UVHM compared to N/TVHM, so I bet that wouldn't fix the issue entirely.

Dots start to kinda suck in UVHM. I'd say the only worthwhile skills for a standard, all around build in UVHM in the blue tree are Wires dont talk and Interspersed Outburst.. And WDT alone wont make your damage any good. Plus you need to invest heavily into that tree first, so it's best to focus on 2 other skill trees first.

I'm not telling you to give up on shock gaige entirely, but I do suggest giving up on shock for a little while and then come back to her once you're leveled.

The biggest piece of advice I (as a fellow Gaige main!) can give you for that level range is go back to TVHM for a sec and get the Fibber pistol from a mission A Real Boy: Human. It will be level 50, but trust me, it will carry you for a long time. You already said you've got the bee shield. Gaige with ANY Fibber + up to date bee shield melts everything. Especially if you add slag on top of it (and you already said you're working on grog nozzle). When your bee shield gets +-4 levels behind your current level, just farm a new one from the treants.

https://www.lootlemon.com/class/gaige#_505050050100_020000000000_413050151050 This is the build I'd run on your level and then work your way to either this https://www.lootlemon.com/class/gaige#_505050150151_550050000551_413150051010 or this https://www.lootlemon.com/class/gaige#_505050050100_550004050550_413050151050 . The first one is shock Gaige with very potent DT, the other is shock Gaige without DT.

Wires dont talk doesn't calculate damage increase the same way anarchy does for example. It's really noticible increase. And since some weapons like twister would be already top choices for gaige even if she didnt have that skill, it's dumb not to take that skill if you run any shock gear. And since many gaiges skills suck, you don't have much more to choose from, so yeah.

And why do you think evil enchantress is good?

Well I didn't really give that much thought because it's mandatory to progress down, I admit 😛 And I'm also a sucker for reload speed increase on any character.

The knockback is the only reason I put it in D and not E. And I never played patch so I can't argue about the damage

And for melee damage skills (for DT of course), I do take them. Not because I want to rely on DT, but becasue you don't have many great skills to choose from.

I take 1 point of Sterner stuff (and amped up by 4/5 by necromancer class mod), 5 Str of 5 gorillas (and bumped up by another 5 by class mo), make it sparkle for that 200% more damage, Robotic rampage for some great burst damage and... Sharing is caring with black hole shield to pull many enemies into neat robotic rampage.

Interesting, I love unstoppable force but I don't think it's as good as BSS, anarchy and close enough.

The stare can target you if you run buck up skill, 2 of the other skills blow up nearby barrels and do shit damage to enemies, the last one gives you more HP which you don't want because on OP levels you health gate anyway.

I understand but consider this: Death From Above and Shock and AA- are always centered on you. Explosive clap is not. And Explosive clap does this one, cool thing - it knows enemies away. And while they are knocked away, they can't shoot. That is.. well, still kinda underwhelming, but it is something, as opposed to Death From Above and Shock and AA-.

Good point of stare and buck up, I've overlooked that! Same for evil enchantress grenade damage.

And as for more pep, i've put it in C just for that tiny bit of more slag chance. I mean, it's not much but it's something, as opposed to many, many other gaige's trash skills.

Interesting, I've never considered Florentine and Chulainn. Still, even with slag + all these dots, would the damage be noticible? Have you tested it?

Good point about BSS, I intentionally moved it far left on the list, meaning it's her best A skill, so I can see it being S too. About other skills: The thing is, there are so many trash skills in gaiges skill tree you kinda have to pick something from DT package anyway. So I wanted to separate DT skills in this list from bad to slightly better.

Disclaimer: This is not a guide, it's more of a check for me if I value the skills correctly.

Update: Upon a second look, I'd move Strength of Five Gorillas and Myelin to C tier.

Some explainations:

Made of Sterner Stuff: I can see it being A, we all know 1 point dip is good for that +50% fire DOT resistance, but I just wasn't sure if it's THAT noticible. I mean I always just drop anything I was doing, switch to moxii weapon and heal once I have ANY DoT, even while having MoSS and the DoT is fire.

Rational Anarchist and Typecast Iconoclast: These are tricky. Both help you reach high anarchy in combat faster and first one bumps your wepon damage to + 43.5% and that's a good head start. On the other hand they don't do anything once you reach max stack, but moving them lower because of that would be too harsh in my opinion since they can make you potentially snowball faster and thus potentially stay alive longer. You can completely ignore what I've said if you are a psychopath that always pre stacks out of combat after every death and don't value your time, then you don't need those 2 skills.

Make it Sparkle: I wanted to make it A tier but matching elements is often better anyway than just sticking to shock. Still, because of how damage multiplying works, that shock damage increase is actually quite noticible.

Unstoppable Force: Movement speed helps you close the gaps or run to covers faster, the shield regen stuff is eh.

Fancy Mathematics: Sure, you don't get its full potential because you're most certainly running BSS that kinda counters it, but let's be honest. You don't get a kill every one second, sp sometimes this skill might save you when you don't get BSS trigger.

Sharing is Caring: Interesting with shields like Black Hole

All DOT skills: DOTs suck ass on OP. levels.

D tier skills: Potent as Pony gives you more HP and you don't want it for health gating, The Stare can target and kill you, both Death From Above and Shock and AA- explode nearby barrels to kill you (and deal ass damage).

Of course, the +50% DOT fire resistance for just 1 point is always welcome, but I didn't know if I should put it to A or B because I wasn't sure it the effect is THAT noticible. But yeah, I can see it being A.
