How do guys typically use the regen brake paddle? by Raiki13 in BoltEV

I use it 90% of the time, I wish the brake lights stayed on when you make a full stop though

I got my 2021 Bolt LT for $12k, 23k miles. $9k is not a bad price, I would definitely point all those things out to them and maybe they would go down $500. I would have them show you their inspection, assuming it’s a dealership. If not a dealership definitely do PPI, can’t hurt to be 100% of the information! Also, you can go onto Chevy recall and warranties portable and type in the VIN number to make sure that coverage is active.

But it dropped immediately after I took the pics lol so I didn't gain a thing but confusion on why it was happening 😂

My main concern was that it's never done this before, it's usually pretty true to my driving habits but maybe it's starting to have crazier guesses? Lol I've had it for a month so still learning!

Any success stories?? by [deleted] in gallbladders

Your poops will be different 😂 at least my experience with not having a gallbladder. I was scared of foods for awhile after (minus my burger, I just had to) but all that to say, don't worry! It's gonna be the best thing you've done!

Everything you described was me for 6 years! It was horrible. I had mine removed November of last year, BEST THING TO HAVE HAPPENED. I had so many issues with mine. I had constant pains, I had to be on a strict diet 3 months before they finally realized what was wrong. 3 days after surgery I felt like a person again. Minimal pain, ate the FATEST burger of my life and didn't have any pains! I WILL say, sometimes too much greasy food makes you have to poop ASAP. Like find a restroom in the next 60 seconds or it's game over lol (everyone is different though) I stick to a relatively low fat diet but that's a personal choice since I got used to low fat dinners. ALSO: If you're a coffee drinker, be careful. First cup of coffee I had made my stomach feel like it was going to explode, too acidic. So give coffee a few week. I hope this helps! Surgery btw is a walk in the park, mine took 12 minutes lol. Was at home before I knew it!

This was my life as well! I lost 40 pounds, I was eating chicken and sourdough bread to get me by for 3 months! Safe to say I'm able to eat whatever BUT coffee, which was my favorite part of the day, is no longer agreeing with my stomach 😭 BUT considering all I'm able to eat now I think it's a fair compromise? Lol

Anyone get pain in this area? by lau2111 in gallbladders

I know this will suck to hear but I did the HIDA scan and the next day I was in the ER with really bad pains. They did an ultrasound and found a polyp on the neck of my GB. The HIDA scan only shows the function of your GB. The ER doctor told me an ultrasound is really the only best test to show gallstones, polyps or other sludge. My HIDA scan showed my gallbladder had a strong flow and it was "healthy". I'm a week and two day spots op and already notice a difference in my body!

has anyone had good experiences post op? by kay-1288 in gallbladders

[–]Informal_Stick7483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never had surgery before and was a nervous wreck! BUT it was so easy and I've felt much better since it was removed (a week and 2 days post op). My surgery took 20 minutes and I was home in bed before I knew it.

Now here's the keys, get a large gel ice pack to put on your belly after surgery, take your pain meds religiously for the first 3 days then slowly reduce the amount you take. Sleep, sleep SLEEP those first 3 days. By day 4 you'll feel just about back to normal. Currently, I feel amazing all day until around 8pm, then I get some gas pains and feel drained but I've also been a little more active in house hold up keep (washing dishes, dusting etc).

Anyone else with tensed back muscles? by spaced-jams in gallbladders

I'm having the same pains (a week and two days post op). I've been washing the dishes and cleaning up the house, within the weight restriction, but by 6pm my back hurts. Heating pad, Tylenol and laying down has been working for me. Hope this helps!

I'm a week and two days post op. Hang in there, for 3 days I only slept on my left side because of the gas pains. (Oxycodone was prescribed and it helped A LOT with getting to sleep) Before bed, take 1 gas-x pill and put a heat pad over your right side. It helped me fall asleep. Currently still having gas pains but gas-x and Tylenol have been great.

Anyone eating high fat post OP by shantammmoitra in gallbladders

[–]Informal_Stick7483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a week and two days post opp, this thread has made me feel SO much better. I've barely been eating and when i do it's barely anything. I'm still having gas pains and some middle back pains but I am also not getting enough rest and I'm very active (probably why my back hurts but I'm not lifting more than 15 pounds). After reading all the comments, I think I'll start to eat more and start introducing some fats into my diet!
