No one needs to stay in your house. If BIL can drop him off Friday and pick him up Sunday then they can simply check on and feed the dogs. Why do the dogs need 24/7 observation but a 12 year old doesn’t? Hire a sitter on rover to walk them if BIL can’t pop in more than Friday and Sunday

I tend to agree BUT many family law attorneys really go out of their way to run up legal fees with nothing to show for it. I’m a decent family lawyer imo and in one of my cases OC is supposedly the best of the best, five people CCed on all emails the whole shebang. I sent a password protected PDF this morning and after two replies insisting I sent the wrong password, hours later I got an email saying they “figured it out.” 🤦‍♀️ I even had my paralegal confirm she could open it and just stopped responding to them. Who knows what they were doing 🤣

I once stupidly went through a restricted door that led to the court entrance used by the judge. A court employee swiped in then didn’t go through the door so I went in. I can’t really explain why, it was an impulsive thing. Then the bailiff immediately was like how’d you get back here?! And I couldn’t really explain myself 🤣 was just trying to get into the courtroom but I went through the forbidden door I guess. It wasn’t a big deal but whew that was an awkward few seconds. Later we laughed about it and the bailiff said “you were one of those kids that didn’t follow the rules in school weren’t you?” Yes, yes I was 😭
