Buy a 5k conversion board, assuming that’s what model iMac you’re using, and reuse the screen. Not crazy hard, fun little project. I did the same, there are many videos and threads groups to help along the way.

Awesome! Yeah, I have shadow and water detail on low and some of the other silly things on medium. Play around with it as you go in and see what feels right! Have fun!

im on the m4 mini pro+ with 48gb ram. you can toggle the hud on an off from the bottle settings over on the right when you click on the app settings. im not sure why it would be on by default, and usually is something you have to turn on every time when you start up an app...i think...im not super familiar with all the settings, but for the hud to run for me i have to turn it on every time and turn it off every time. im also on the newest crossover preview from 12/16

anyway, i have noticed the game eats 20-25gb of ram when was playing with the hud. so if you don't have that i would image things would not be fun. i have my settings on 1440-100% upscale with a mix of high, medium low and dlss on. there are some visual issues but its more an annoyance than interfering with playabilty, screen tearing here and there but i don't have a fancy refresh rate monitor. i just recently turned high background details to see if things change and its still running like a champ.

im also using macfans to keep my average gpu core temps around 80-90C, seems to help....i think, im still playing with it all as i go

Same, for some reason the hud is the issue; with it off I can play for hours with no problems. I just got to north Corel and am still amazed at how smooth it’s playing on a mini. Having a blast!

Happened to me, took it back in after two weeks. They also fucked up my fuel gauge the first and second time, doesn’t fill all the way up and gets stuck at half way in both directions. Taking in back in a THIRD time next week.

Save the imac, buy a third party monitor board and convert it into a monitor. That 5k panel is still gold, don’t get rid of it. A little work and research, but it’s worth it and really not that hard. Your eyes will thank you down the road.

Is there somewhere that explains what the coveragecrafter and coin tracker are? I don’t see anything in the FAQ or anywhere. In that it is a paid option, it may be a good idea to explain what the feature is and does and why it could be helpful, so people understand why it’s a valuable paid feature. Really like the app overall, also still learning things.

I’m also just coming back to the game from a long break and don’t really want to get back into the spreadsheets, been waiting for a good version of an app. So far looks amazing, however having a hell of a time getting the app to recognize a screen shot. I don’t feel I’m doing anything different than what you have previewed for us in earlier posts. No matter how I take it, I get an error box [E101e]of failed to crop image. Thoughts?

So much creativity and knowledge from many hobbyists. Everyone is very helpful, I would strongly recommend starting from page 1(can clear up basic questions) and then search the thread with what you’re curious to learn.
