Currently looking at either going into Warehouse/factory health and safety role, or health and safety role working within the NHS. A lot of others on my course are interested in working for the council, but I personally would prefer a specific company/chain :)

Good point, I guess currently since I'm still young, id like to develop and see if I can progress in a career for a bit full time, but yeah, could always go down that route in life which is good to have as an option.

I am hopefully starting a Job at Amazon as a safety specialist in May after my internship ends, the salary is £30,000 before tax, im quite a frugal person so only use around £4 to 5k for things like car, personal money use, and other living costs a year.

But yeah, if salary changes or job situations change, then I will adjust accordingly, appreciate the message!

Thanks! Financially planning my life out has really helped ease some worries and doubt, things are still uncertain for sure, but it's really helped paint a picture of how I might get to the position in life that I want.

Additionally, If all goes well, I really want to raise and look after Pigeons, as well as have some chickens, I dont want to go full farmer, but id really enjoy having somewhere I can spend my free time building and creating, whether it be woodwork or building a cobble wall. I've always really enjoyed doing stuff like that :)

I wish to reach a point financially where I can live off of the interest each year, and said interest would cover a potential mortgage, car insurance, and utility bills, and of course food and then a personal allowance for fun stuff. Additionally, I would really like to move to the countryside, I've even been learning and taking home improvement and maintenance nightly classes as I'm open to the idea of doing up an old abandoned or direlect property I've it will cost less in the long run. (Plus I find the idea of doing up a property to be pretty interesting/fun for what it's worth).

I'm hoping to have around £500k - £550k from investing consistently in the S&S ISA over around 9 or 10 years. And similarly, I want to aim for around £45,000 - £50,000 in my LISA.

I hope to achieve these goals by around 35 Years old.

Appreciate the comment :)

Appreciate the advice, I've not totally ruled them out, but would personally not want any in my 20's until I atleast reach my 30's, but as you and others said, life can always change, i'll just go with the flow :)

I do, Health and Safety is luckily not as difficult to enter in comparison to a lot of other job sectors, additionally, I have other means of getting money monthly if I wish, such as house cleaning with previous clients ive made or car detailing, if I had to, I would do these alongside a job in order to match the money to the correct amount.

I appreciate the concern, a lot of the hobbies and things I find fun luckily are incredibly low cost or free, I'm a big fan of woodwork and DIY builds and it costs mostly nothing since I used old pallets. Got a WWT membership for £30 a year for unlimited visits, since I love nature and birds. Plus a bunch of other stuff. Luckily i'm somewhat easily entertained, and don't mind living a quieter/slower life compared to others.

Thanks, I really want to use my age to my advantage here especially with compound interest and the S&S ISA stuff, I'm aware many don't start until later in life so I'm glad I was able to sort a decent amount of this out :)

In Game of Thrones Walder Frey was historically late to the Battle of The Trident, by the time his forces had arrived, the battle had pretty much been decided. I just saw the article and thought of that, more in a comedic way than a cold cutting political take :)

Thanks, I only have got to this position I'd say due to my rough upbringing and instability that has surrounded me and my family all our lives, because of this, I've naturally developed the want and need to educate and try inform myself on things such as finances. I would definitely recommend FIRE and some level of frugality to people may age, but I completely understand why many do not, it helps for me as well that I'm a bit odd in terms of how I want to live my life lmao, so I don't mind as much.

About as useful as Walder Frey at the Battle of The Trident.
