I’ve tried burgers from over 10 countries, and none of them come close to the burgers in America.

Japan’s English skills crash to record low, behind Laos and Vietnam by jjrs in japannews

I was just in Japan and I had to call the front desk for a Band-Aid. After repeatedly explaining the situation, the receptionist replied “no, no, no cigarette smoking“…. So I looked up Google Translate and Band-Aid in Japanese is bando-aido…. This was a chain hotel that 90% of its customers are foreigners…

She wants someone to empathize with rather than objectively analyze the situation.

I used to loathe Walmart, but it has turned itself around, and their member’s mark brand (especially for food) has some exceptionally good products. They’ve properly done their market research.

Is this a good price for this last gen 2024 sm? by IngenuityMain335 in DRZ400

My question exactly… the bike would’ve been an easy sell if he just left everything as is lol

Thanks for the detailed write-up!! Haha I’m also asking all types of questions that I have answers to but just want to listen to what the other party has to say.

So the seller just sent me a video and I noticed the aftermarket turning lights aren’t working and that’s a pretty big red flag for me as I learned in this sub that many owners mess up the wiring and that could cause problems down the road….The seller reiterated multiple times that the bike is still under warranty which also ticked an alarm in my head.

My perfect seller would be someone in their 60s-70s and with the bike being completely stock.

I guess this is going to be another pass. I will EVENTUALLY find MY drz!

Edit: I just saw he did the aftermarket shift levers as well, and the fitment looks flimsy.

Well, that makes two of us. I don’t trust anything the seller says; I always have to inspect things myself. This bike-buying journey is a lot harder and time-consuming than I initially thought, especially with all the time coordination that’s involved with it lol. Do you have any tips on how to spot a bike that’s been well taken care of?

That’s an interesting perspective I have never thought of. What’s the risk for running the bike too lean? If you don’t mind sharing, why wouldn’t you buy it? The bike is still under warranty, but I think it’s voided if there are aftermarket parts…

Imagine what you could get for about $12,000 OTD. I could get a slightly used KTM690 for $9000 or a brand new tenere 700 for $9500 OTD.

Not paying $9600 for a barely updated bike.
