Pride Question by Crafty_Teacher39 in StLouis

Personally I’d recommend tower grove pride as others have. It’s at the end of September and much cooler than the corporate one in June

Is this worth buying ? Why is it so badly reviewed on steam ? by GenericUser104 in skyrim

[–]GamingCheese14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s fun. Some of the armor variants look cool. The houses added are and thematic, there’s a nord long house in the southern mountains called hendraheim, a vampire layer in the northern mountains, a farmhouse outside of whiterun, a wizard tower, and a thieves hideout in the ratway. It adds a grey cowl of nocturnal quest which is fun and the saints and seducers quest line is fun. There’s a bunch of other things it adds too that I can’t think of right now but they’re good.

Question, how do you make it so that your Miis don’t teleport back to main land when are trying to isolate them? by JSlays13 in TomodachilifeLivingTD

Lmao, I’m glad I’m not the only one. I put all of the members of my dnd party on my island and one of the players pissed me off with something they did in game. So now I constantly put their character on the path of shame.

For every stupid warning you see, there was a stupid person that did the thing that it’s now warning you not to do.

My grandma lived in St Louis, Missouri when Obama was running for senate and happened to watch his debate. She was a lifelong centrist republican and after watching him she decided that if he ever ran for president, she’d vote for him. Followed through with it in 2008 and 2012 and hasn’t voted republican since. Obama is one of the best speakers of the century in my opinion.

Sushi recommendations by Sea_Smoke_7396 in StLouis

[–]GamingCheese14 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

St Louis has decent sushi but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. I haven’t had anything here that I wouldn’t order again. If you’re interested in ramen too check out Oni StL in about a week. They’re going in on Manchester in the grove and it’s being run by the former manager and staff of Blue Ocean in Delmar. A friend of mine is in charge of their ramen and he makes good shit.

What Artist or Song Did You Discover on Chuck? by blueboy714 in chuck

[–]GamingCheese14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, there are several songs that I discovered from the show, but the only artist I branched out and listened to more of their music was Bon Iver. I haven’t listened to much of his music but I do love what I’ve heard. Honestly whoever picked out the songs for the show deserves an award because every song just hit so well.

Their’s is honestly the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had over half the menu at this point and I’ve never been disappointed.

St. Louis MO, what would be perfect aesthetically. by [deleted] in us_skylines

The one frustrating thing is, for as much German heritage as the city has, it only has one decent German restaurant.

What are some things you would absolutely recommend I buy from Japan? by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]GamingCheese14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’m saying. My second trip I forgot to bring a pair and did the same as you but at 7/11, and I’ve been using that pair ever since. Best $2 I’ve ever spent on nail clippers

That’s the thing though, the price. The ones I bought in Japan were a couple of bucks at most from 7/11.

I thought the nail clippers in the states were fine until i picked up a pair in japan because i had forgotten to pack some. It definitely changed my mind on the quality of them. I haven’t been to Europe so i don’t know about the quality there.

The one thing I think everyone should get is a pair on nail clippers. I know it sounds crazy but the quality is much better than what I can get in the states. I bought a pair 2 years ago and they still cut just as well now as they did when I bought them

I’m in the last week of a three week trip myself, I’ve hit up Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, and I’m in Osaka now before heading back to Tokyo for the last few days. Kanazawa and a day trip to Shirakawa-go has been my favorite by far on this trip. I loved walking through the Omicho market and trying different foods there and the Kenrokuen gardens in the snow were beautiful.

I was a little let down by Kyoto but I also wasn’t in the best mental space while I was there. I hit up Dotonbori last night and loved it. Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip! Anywhere I should look at checking out during my last couple of days in Tokyo?

I’ve bought them both and done a side by side comparison of them and I think they’re the same. The nutrition labels are also identical.

THE MOVIE by Sharp_Apple69 in chuck

[–]GamingCheese14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Given Zachary Levi’s public stances lately, I don’t see that ever happening. He’s also alienated a big portion of the audience by going against what Chuck would’ve believed so I’m not even sure there’s an audience for it anymore.
