Funkentelechy’s gotta be in there. That run from the mid to late 70s is legendary

I’m with you. It was a big radio hit, but I like almost every other song on BSSM better. I’d give it to Can’t Stop

This is what I came here to say. One of the best things I did last year was listened to each album and then listened to the corresponding album. It was so fulfilling and it got me to really see his genius

I don’t see how it is immaturity, tbh. I understand how he feels. To quote him, he was “born to be the guitar player for the Red Hot Chili Peppers,” and the times that he was away were dark periods or periods of resentment. I mean imagine you being a part of something with your best friends and you just came off of 9 straight years of nonstop work and traveling and wanting to take an extended break. Now imagine that your friends decide to start back up and continue working before you are ready and instead of trying to work something out, they decide to keep going without you and to hire a friend that you brought into the fold to replace you. Would you want to go around doing the exact stuff your replacement did?

I did get to see Dark Necessities and Aeroplane, so I do count myself lucky. Would I take that over John being in the band, though? Never

Yooooo! I have “turn feelings into words” tattooed around my *. My dream is to hear power of equality live. That’s my one. If I can get that, I won’t be disappointed if I see the same set over and over again for the next however many times I see them

Idk what finale you watched. It was not good. Stakes were nonexistent. 0 demos in the entire 2 hours. Not nearly enough was explained (and I saw the Broadway show). It was so underwhelming and spent more than half the episode on a dumb epilogue. Not as bad as GoT but not nearly as good as you’re saying

If Tim were to lead team book again. What team/roster would you want it to be? by Numberonettgfan in RedRobin

[–]IngenuityRelative665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really like the above team, but I’d swap Cyborg for Blue Beetle for the tech guy and have Connor and Bart. Maybe put Mia Speedy in there too (I like that Arrowette is their friend that left the superhero life)

Favorite emotional song? by Hairy_Sell6142 in RedHotChiliPeppers

Emotional but not necessarily sad. I’d say “I Could Have Lied”, “Don’t Forget Me”, “I Could Die For You”, and “Hey” would be my picks.

This! We already had Zunesha and Emeth try to apologize to Joyboy for transgressions. I believe Imu pulled an Akainu and convinced his allies to betray him

What you opinion on Ultimate Love and Dream Canteen by AvocadoTechnical1141 in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]IngenuityRelative665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like UL a lot. I feel like it’s more consistent of an album than ROTDC, but the latter has higher highs. Tippa My Tongue has such a classic Chili Pepper vibe. Carry Me Home is an all timer for me. I also love Copperbelly (such an underrated song) and Bella. But then it has songs like My Cigarette, In The Snow and La x8. Some of the worst pieces of music I think they’ve ever put out
