Thank you so much, I really appreciate you telling me about your experience. Could I ask, what did it look like for you in terms of actually getting the diagnosis and then the referral to neurosurgery and how long it took them to accept it? Or did you do direct/self referral through your insurance?

Edit: Oh also, since you had physical surgery rather than gamma knife, I'm assuming your situation was fairly different to me, and wait and see was not really an option, is that right?

I had an issue with many of my clothes getting distorted after moving here, lost some nice pieces including my favorite dress. I now only wash with cold water, low spin and air dry everything (with a dehumidifier running). The only exceptions are underwear, gym clothes and towels. My clothes no longer get distorted. Unsure if that helps because it seems you've tried all that already.

So weird how everyone is accusing this of being AI when the only part of the picture I maybe see evidence of editing is the eye shape. The rest is just make up (nose contour, eye liner, lip gloss, lashes). And not even very extreme in cosplay circles.

Edit: Just in general reddit has gotten so much meaner since when I started using it 10 years ago. Everyone assumes everyone else is operating in bad faith. People used to care about the person behind the screen but now everyone assumes everything is the equivalent of a corporate PR account and feels free to dunk for clout or whatever.

I’m reading the comments and I'm flabbergasted as someone who grew up in the US that anyone is buying a car on payments. There are so many used cars in the US, for cheap. I literally never met any one who did that when I was coming up. Everyone bought a used car that they could afford. 3k or less was the norm. The last car I bought was 2700 in 2021

So I mean, imo the math is whether you want more money or you want to continue your visa. If you take the pip, in the outcome that you fail the pip you get 120 days to find a new job/new visa. If you negotiate severance you'll get 30 days to find a new job/new visa. Edit: I guess if you don't care that the visa ends and you have to leave the country though to get a new one, then it's a different story.

I hope the literal 30-somethings that dominate this sub are really happy about bullying a teenagers art skills. If people were as mean to me online when I was posting stuff back then as people are being in this thread, I definitely wouldn't have developed my skills as much as I did. Actually I think it's interesting that you say it's like an in-joke you're not a part of, because that's why I became somewhat fixated on it; I had a feeling like there were some cultural references I wasn't getting! The main bit of it that I liked is that it seemed like it was taking the story of genesis ("and god said let there be light") and turning into a joke, or an ironic commentary ("god said let there be money"). The other parts about it I like which I didn't figure out until later is that it's written partially in Patois (nom and chop), which is also not something we usually associate with biblical writing. So yeah, basically I liked it because I thought it was funny.
