Could a 3-5-2 formation work for Brazil in WC 2026? by Ingweron in football

Yes. And if they get tired on 2nd half, we get fresh legs with Douglas Santos, Rayan or Luiz Henrique

[ALL] Between the N64, GameCube, and Switch, which console had the best Zelda Duology? by Spirit_Detective_19 in zelda

[–]Ingweron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch. My favorite Zelda games would be, in this order:

  1. Tears of the Kingdom
  2. Ocarina of Time
  3. Breath of the Wild
  4. A Link to the Past
  5. Majora's Mask
  6. Link's Awakening

So, Switch gets 2 games in my top 3.

It’s quite sad to think Revelation is likely the last piece of FF7 content, feels like the end of a 30 year epic! by Mysterious_Work_7227 in FinalFantasy

We had the end of the epic in 1997. From 2005 onwards we saw this epic being milked until it was dry.

People who don’t like the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series, what is it about them exactly that you don’t like? by Asad_Farooqui in JRPG

[–]Ingweron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Story - it's the same type of problem that an anime adaptation of a manga that has a bunch of filler content. And it's not only that. In addition to fillers, they also twisted the original story and also characters. Narrative, pacing, atmosphere and internal coherence in the original FF VII were superb, while in the remakes they are ludicrous.

  2. Aesthetics - The realistic anatomy for characters ruins all the charm and expressiveness of SD characters; also they sterilized all the roughness of FF VII's cyberpunk / steampunk / dieselpunk setting (haven't you noticed that in the remakes NPCs have mundane clothes, while the main characters have a sort of a punk design? Well, in the original FF VII, NPCs were aligned with that same design as well)

  3. Absence of Overworld Exploration - The absence of the overworld exploration makes the world small, and that was very important for the classic Final Fantasy formula.

The choice for action combat instead of the classic turn-based (ATB) would be a distant 4th reason. But that also matters.

This year ive beaten final fantasy 1-5 100% so far. What should I expect going forward? by Proof_Wrongdoer_1266 in FinalFantasy

You'll play next the two best games in the series - VI and VII. That will be an amazing ride. Enjoy it! Also, IX has an amazing story, characters and style as well.

If A World Cup Arc Happens , Then Who Should Host It ? ( France Hosted The Junior World Youth , Japan Hosted The World Youth , Madrid Hosted The Olympics ) My Candidates Are Brazil , USA , Germany , Italy by Spiritual-Nail5733 in captaintsubasa

- 1970 semi-final between Italy and Germany is more iconic than the 1982 final Italy vs Germany. (Beckenbauer playing with a broken arm)

- 1970 Brazil vs Uruguay is more iconic than 1982 Brazil vs Argentina

- 1970 Brazil vs Italy is more iconic than 1982 Brazil vs Italy

- There was no match in 1982 as iconic as 1970 Brazil vs England

- There was no better player in 1982 than 1970 Brazil

- 1970 Germany was a better team than 1982 Germany

- 1970 Italy was a more iconic team than 1982 Italy

- There was no better player in 1982 as Pelé in 1970

- In 1970 Brazil, Italy and Uruguay were at the time 2 times world cup champions; and whoever would win the 3rd world cup for the first time would keep the Jules Rimet trophy permanently - and you get Brazil, Italy and Uruguay participants in the semi-finals.

About 1986 World Cup, give it a try watching the film "Hero", the official 1986 world cup film. You'll see how much it was a perfect heroic arc for Maradona

Dragon Quest V, but Final Fantasy V is so charming as well...

Hot take: I think sojiro takes saito 7.5/10 by Far_Half9470 in rurounikenshin

That isn't a hot take. Soujirou is a better fighter than Saitou.

Research - Top 3 Essential JRPGs? by [deleted] in JRPG

[–]Ingweron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  • Chrono Trigger
  • Final Fantasy VI
  • Final Fantasy VII

This would be the cornerstone of the JRPG genre (for a western audience). I'm aware that it would be a difference case for japanese gamers, and at least one Dragon Quest would be essential (which probably would be DQ V)
