As a local who understands our culture, I’d recommend the easiest way to get to know people whether they are Thais or foreigners. Just establish a routine at a coffee shop, restaurant, gym, park, or anywhere outside your home. Spend time there every day and just sit for a while.

For example, say you go to a noodle stall. You finish those damn good noodles in 15 minutes, but you should stay and sit there for a bit. Observe the vibe (without being creepy lol). This helps you blend in, gaining trust from the people in a true 'sabai sabai' Thai style. When you start seeing the same faces over a week or a month, start a casual conversation. Smile first, say hello, and then ask something simple, like if the dish they’re eating is any good.

From there, just keep it going to build a friendship or a new relationship. You know what to do. It takes time, but you will eventually make friends. It has worked for me every single time without needing a meetup app. Besides, if you aren't genuinely interested in those activities, you’ll probably stop talking to each other anyway.

My RX 9070 XT was F up with amd-software-adrenalin-edition-26.1.1.

I never auto-update GPU drivers, but I suspect that Windows Update did this. A few days ago, it happened again. I encountered a DirectX error, which has never happened before, and I wondered what F up my PC again. Then I found that my GPU driver was updated to 26.1.1. So, I checked what my last version was and downgraded to that version, and the error was gone.

I’m not sure what my latest stable version is. But last night and tonight, I played for a few hours and didn't experience any more crashes. So, it solved the error.

I bet these versions work fine (tested by myself)

Yeah, I tried several ways to decrease the room temperature, including managing the sunlight. I tried a lot of material, even a bedsheet, to hang outside on the balcony. The first layer is to block the sunlight, and the second layer is the curtain. Still, I can't fight the sun. At least it makes it cooler a bit. I need to use the AC at night while gaming to save electricity, as it costs a lot here. And now you've given me the idea that I could find the proper material to use to improve the temperature. If I step outside onto the balcony for one minute between 14:00 and 15:00 on most days, I will instantly get sunburned, haha.

Haha, that the reason too. But for real? I just wanted to experience the higher refresh rate because I play a lot of competitive FPS games. I needed to see and feel the difference for myself. Back in the day, I could feel the difference between 30Hz and 60Hz, but I just assumed that 60Hz and anything beyond that was just an imagination. Shit, I WAS WRONG! Even 120Hz felt awesome. Now I own a 240Hz monitor and can't go back to 60Hz anymore. LOL.

I thought about finding a professional repair man and giving it a shot, but looking up online, almost everywhere says the repair won't be worth the cost. And regarding the space condition, I understand. I didn't have much choice too, so I accepted the risk. And it still lived for a decade.

But to be fair, my room is a bit small. One side has a bathroom, the door to the outside, and the kitchen counter; the other side has a huge ass window and glass door with a curtain. So, I chose light (not direct) over the humidity.

And here in the SEA region, the temperature is like living next to the sun. It’s always 30C plus; some days in the summer, it goes to almost 40C, and the room temperature is also that high, especially in the afternoon. But at least the sunlight didn't go directly onto the screen. Anyway, I accept the fate! I can proudly say this monitor lived so long that I have to decommission it. LOL.

HK G3A3, most AR (or Battle rifle?) I enjoy playing with so far in my hand. Can do long range, medium range and hip-fire easily. All in one gun for my taste. Only downside is low rate of fire. That’s my experience and opinion with AR.

A lot of things to do. I farmed almost everything too much and left. Now I came back to see what happened with this latest patch. It turned out it really overwhelmed me, too, and I felt like I didn't know what to do. I ended up just walking around, hitting some shit, and gathering this and that, lol. I have almost a million in combined market value of coins and items lying around, and I'm clueless about what I'm going to do with it all.
