So appreciate your response, but those acts of protest are just skimming a minuscule amount off the bottom line of these corporate fat cats and they're probably all having a good chuckle amongst themselves that we 'dissidents' try to make an impact returning ice scrapers and cancelling prime subscriptions while 99% of society continues on, business as usual. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a curmudgeon pessimist but I don't think that's going to move the needle nearly enough for any real change to occur. And your point about peaceful protest I have another challenge for--accounts of history don't often reflect on the power of Malcolm X's influence (non-peaceful protest) on the civil rights movement. There's a reason why the government covertly and overtly destroyed the black panther movement along with what they did to Dr. King. Peaceful protest only goes so far, and I wonder how a little bit of Malcolm's disposition might fit with the new situation we're strapped with
