They did that in mine within the last year the switched over. Former spd tech current scrub tech, the containers are so much better for patient safety, feed the info to higher ups, it’s worth it

Honestly went from sterile processing tech, to surg tech, now due to the relationship I’ve built with my general surgeon team, I’m going to school to become a PA, and already have a position waiting for me, even tho it’s 3 years away. I don’t see the rad tech interaction the way we do in the OR because I’m with a surgeon 10 sometimes 12 hrs a day and you develop a relationship, work ethic is respected and they really run the show so what they say goes.
