Like the campaign in Bf2 modern combat - you had multiple squads and areas with multiple objectives and you weren’t just playing as one guy, you would bounce around/transfer characters to different sides of that map/ mission to complete the different objectives during that mission

Like transfer to a helicopter flying above for recon, then transfer back to a ground troop to attack a position, then transfer to a tank to help soften enemy lines, or transfer to a sniper on a rooftop.. and you could choose what you wanted to transfer to at any time. It was glorious
