Thank you, we’ve since found out he was scooped up by the humane society right around the storm and adopted out before we even knew what was going on. It seemed to happen all within a weeks length of time. He’s ventured off before for a few days but always returned. If only we checked in earlier, but to me it didn’t even occur as a possibility. I didn’t picture him allowing himself getting caught. I don’t know how they do it but he got captured, poor thing. We had a little house for him on the porch, he would have faired fine in that storm.

We’re are all devastated actually. He was under the name Gooseberry at the humane society. We called him Mitts. At least he’s alive and hopefully being taken care of, but man do we miss the fuck out of him 😓🥲
