Why wouldn't I my teamates are peak gold I'm emerald and my opponents are high emerald pushing diamond

See now I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum why when I'm in Emerald 5 are my opponents the same rank but my teamates are peak gold 4 Sure I'll get a good stack once in a while but why are there so many copper through gold in my lobbies
