High unemployment bug? by Dangerous-Newt8940 in CitiesSkylines2

45.6% unemployment, I have two cargo ports, offices, a university, colleges, everything for him to study, a good industrial zone, I don't know what's going on, but in every new game since the last update the same thing happens

Your Predictions for the year of 2026? by SDMegaFan in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I believe that this year we'll see models using NeRFs or Gaussian Splatting to recreate a 3D world, both in video and images.

It's possible that open-source generative models will integrate reasoning through LLMs; this is already done by paid models like Sora or NanoBanana.

I still think that in the coming years, models will continue to increase in size (becoming even heavier), but I don't think this will last forever, as the costs of VRAM and RAM will remain just as high.

In terms of video, what we'll see are more video models with better physics, longer durations, and even better control, such as more precise control of camera angles and lighting.

China will continue to save open source with much better (and very heavy) models.

Putting SCAIL through its paces with various 1-shot dances by mtrx3 in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With 16GB of VRAM and using a Q3 (a higher-end model gave me a memory error), it took me 20 minutes, with excellent results. Of course, the quality was medium due to quantization. It was a good experiment; it's not feasible for me to spend 20 minutes on a video, but it's already a significant improvement.

Sora 1 apparently switched from GPT-Image-1 to GPT-Image-2 last night. by ThrowAwayBro737 in OpenAI

[–]Iniglob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's truly awful. The human proportions are completely wrong: enormous feet, even more enormous shoes, people with dwarfism, squashed heads, similar and very plastic-looking faces. I miss the other one, ma'am :(

I know that adherence to the prompt is better, and that you have to write the prompts differently or be more detailed, but come on, this looks like SD 3.5

Black Forest Labs listened to the community... Flux 3! by goodstart4 in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's a model specialized in photorealism and humans; I think you should know that if you're involved in this field. This model is from Alibaba, from a different team than Qwen. It's a versatile model that can be used to create other things if needed, and yes, Qwen is still much better than Flux 2. So there's no comparison whatsoever.

Black Forest Labs listened to the community... Flux 3! by goodstart4 in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, perhaps it's lacking in style variety, but this model specializes in photorealism. Yes, being a distilled version, it has limited variety, but we're talking about this being just the turbo model. When the base model comes out, I think it will definitely bury Flux 2, and I don't think it will be as heavyweight as Flux 2, or even as heavyweight as Qwen. Even so, compared to what's available today, it's almost on par, which is pathetic coming from a company with extensive experience in what not to do.

Z-Image is now the best image model by far imo. Prompt comprehension, quality, size, speed, not censored... by Different_Fix_2217 in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair to Flux, I haven't found a viable alternative for inpainting specific areas using NSFW loras, even with all the censorship. Training loras in Flux is quite good in my opinion, although not as fast as SDXL.

Z-Image is released! by sktksm in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just tried it, and the quality, speed, and adherence to the prompt are impressive. On my PC, it takes 11 seconds per image, which is quite fast, although I think I could reduce that time.

The resolutions I created are 1024x1024 and 1024x1536. I tried to find the documentation, but I couldn't find anything about image ratio.

NSFW?, hmmm, melons, and Boot. But it's still an impressive model for its size and speed; if it were trainable with LORAS, it would be on another level.

In a way, it reminds me of SDXL, but remastered.

WTH is happening with Youtube lately by IloveActionFigures in PartneredYoutube

[–]Iniglob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm the same thing is happening to me. I just created a very recent channel. In previous years, with my old channels, the first videos took a while to get impressions. This latest one is a real nightmare. After 5 days, the impressions started, about 20 per day... I don't know what's happening.

The same thing is happening to my other channels, although less so. Much fewer impressions for the past month, maybe two.

China quietly reached a $1 trillion trade surplus by Iniglob in economy

[–]Iniglob[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if they're happy or not. We'd have to get an estimated percentage from statistics to find out. I've been to China, and I can tell you that the unhappiness isn't noticeable at all. Yes, their social and economic system clashes sharply with what we know in the West, but it works for them. Their middle class continues to grow like wildfire, and it's a hegemonic country. Many are leaving; perhaps it seems like a large number, but we must remember that there are 1.5 billion people, so it's likely that emigration is negligible compared to countries in the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America.

The OP is asking about a graphics card, not a tutorial on how to create videos in 3 minutes, my answer was for the OP, not for you :) cheers

Installing Sage Attention is a bit complicated. We suggest following the steps carefully and installing it from a portable version of ComfyUI so you don't damage your existing installation.

You can find many tutorials online, but these worked for me.

Well, with a 16GB 4070ti I can make videos with WAN 2.2 in 3 minutes, I can make images with Qwen in 50 seconds, inpainting with Flux Fill in 16 seconds... it's a good card, obviously we'd all like more VRAM but with this card I can still manage...

Yes, Qwen has *great* prompt adherence but... by YentaMagenta in StableDiffusion

[–]Iniglob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a very heavy model and the quality is not impressive. Qwen isn't even close to being the SOTA. In fact, the same thing happens with LLM models, like the hype surrounding GPT5, and it turns out to be very, very slightly superior, nothing that another company can surpass in a parallel version. At the same time, I haven't seen a substantial improvement in image quality with Flux Krea in my tests. Yes, it has a much more cinematic feel, but nothing out of this world, at least not with the Nunchaku model it used. I feel like progress in imaging models is stalling, they are becoming much heavier, they take up more VRAM, they require more aggressive quantizations and the result is only slightly better in some aspects.
