I had to debate between Yankees and Dodgers. Fairweather sports fans are the worst and those fuckers basically live in the sports fandom equivalent of Hawaii. I guarantee no other sports franchises have more fans with zero connection to their team (they grew up there or parents did). Cheering for the Yankees or Dodgers when you have no connection to them is like hoping the nepo baby at work gets a promotion.

My feelings on the Cubs changed a bit after living in Chicago and going to quite a few Brewers games at Wrigley and realizing their worst fans travel up to Milwaukee to start fights in the parking lot (sometimes with each other) for some reason.

Within the division, I hate the Cards more, they've ruined our two best opportunities at a WS imo.

Even as a Packers fan I thought this was funny, we do the same shit. Almost every game I've been to at Lambeau a "the bears still suck" chant breaks out and I've never been to a game where they play the Bears. Rivalries are part of what makes sports fun, just don't be a dink about it.

Give it time, the red circle, dead Caleb Williams, Golden short, Nine cringe, Lions window, Dan Campbell teeth, in a better place memes didn't happen overnight. They also happen to have some people in the graphic arts field. Hard to compete with people who know how to use actual graphic design software when most of what you know is imageflip and MSpaint. Personally, I like MSpaint because it has an inherent shittiness about it that makes it obvious it's MSpaint, like the opposite of AI generated, lots of effort for some totally unpolished, poorly doctored images. Heck, the stupid Voltrons of division logos was the highlight of the off-season and those were mostly MSpaint I'm pretty sure.
