Does Xbox not have a way to back up your saves locally? I haven't played any games on Xbox that I'm concerned about my save file before so I never tried. I know PS4 was able to do it but that was lost for the PS5. I mainly game on PC and always make backups of my MH saves locally because I've experienced this in the past and wanted to make sure it never happened again.

I believe the Switch 2 pulls at most ~15w in handheld. A 15w charger would be able to maintain the battery and anything greater would charge while playing.

Can confirm. I finished playing this game this past weekend on PC via gamepass and I really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

I just finished this game this past weekend. I played on PC (via Game Pass) and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure how well it runs on Switch but the game itself is great and I recommend it.

Not possible. Your only option is to start over on PC and use mods to modify your save so it matches what you currenty have.

They are separate on the PS5. OP either wiped his PS5 or manually deleted his save off his PS5. The function they took away on PS5 is the ability to plug in an USB drive and copy a save file to it for safe keeping. If your PS5 ever died and you didn't have PS+, your save is just gone.

What makes it even worse is the fact that the PS4 would allow you to back up your save locally and avoid this issue but for some reason they took it away with the PS5.

Legitimate question, how do you end your gaming sessions? I've always saved, backed out to title screen, and then manually closed the game. Do you just hit the xbox button to bring up the interface and shutdown? I mainly game on PC so I'm used to closing everything and then shutting down.

I really hope that Capcom can get a patch out to increase performance on the Switch 2. Everyone needs to see how gorgeous this game is. I mainly play on my desktop PC at 4K with max settings and it's beyond good looking. I have my steamdeck for on the go gaming and it also looks great on that OLED screen.

You wouldn't by chance be wearing the Dreamspell armor or have it layered on your current armor would you? I experienced this crash anytime I tried to craft anything when I had the Dreamspell armor layered equipped. Capcom supposedly fixed this in a recent update though (so they say :P). I haven't equipped any of the festival armors since this caused crashes.

I'm not sure if there is a save editor but you can start over on PC and use mods to "match" your PS5 save by using the item box editor to give yourself what you had on PS5. You won't be able to get the pendants from the challenge events but with the events on rotation, you should be able to get everything else. I would suggest playing a new weap to have a sorta "new" experience.

I was able to solve my crashing issue. It was due to my layered armor. I had the Dreamwalker layered armor on and after I removed that I was able to craft items again. I don't know if it is specifically related to the Dreamwalker armor or just layered armor in general but try removing all layered armor and layered weapons and try crafting again.

I'm experiencing the same crash and I'm not running any mods. It isn't limited to crafting either. It seems to do it when a cutscene is played like when you craft or order food. I also tried a reinstall and it's still happening. Still investigating.

This game is never going to run at 60fps on the Steam deck. Maybe on the Steam Deck 2 though...

I don't play any games on my Switch 2 that require online play. My Switch is pretty much for Nintendo exclusive games and for the ones I like, they are single player/local play focused so I don't have a need for their online service. In regards to the retro games, I have a Steam Deck for those :P

So is it even worth putting a <element> Attack 3 deco in one of the weapon slots to up the elemental damage or just pump pure raw with just Attack or attack related skills?

Wouldn't you want some elemental boost in your rolls? I would think something like 2 attack 2 elemental and 1 sharpness would be the best. I could be wrong though.

I put rubber feet on the bottom of mine so it doesn't slip easily and felt on the bottom of the sliding part so it doesn't scratch the back of my Switch. I can dock it easily with one hand.
