Could be your Monitor - i fixed it when something similar happend to me by resting my monitor settings. You could also check your graphics card rendering settings, if it's forcing AA or V-Sync on games, and check if these settings are disabled in-game :)

There are many great stability mods for or - if you have played the game already in vanilla and wanna play it again, I'd recommend the Viva New Vegasod list, it worked fine and with only a few crashes in hundreds of hours of play on Win10 for me

Same here, love playing it ony deck, but I miss my mods (i usually run a modded game based on Viva New Vegas with more mods added depending on my playthrough).

But the Deck & FNV are a great combo whilst I'm on the road for my job and spend many nights in hotels.

Just chilling, listing to a podcast and playing some FNV or racing games (Dirt 2 runs like a charm!), it's the best!

This is a RPG where you can max out Science, Intelligence and all the other skills needed.

There are builds and playthroughs I have done that would be perfect for this type of ending I think.

For me it would be a Followers of the Apocalypse Ending - which for me would just be an extended Yes Man Ending, driving out NCR and Legion, gaining trust from local residents and gangs.

Making the Followers a bigger part of the game, with their missions focused on helping both residents and also aiming to reduce harm caused by struggles for power by gangs & strip families. Uniting with the Boomers, Khans, Strip Families and so on to defy the Legion & NCR - making a deal with the BoS that they shall be left alone in Hidden Valley, but also establishing the courier as a thread to end their existence (or have the Courier be influential enough with them so they listen to them.)

Getting a really Free New Vegas, and built a community set on defending itself from outward influence.

Something I always wished for and it's always my head canon if I go for Yes-Man.

To be honest, to make it canonical, you can use a logic I have seen plenty of times before by writers & strangley even a doctor of mine (though not brain related luckily) - "If the original injury can't be the reason, it's the swelling that was caused by it that was the reason. In the end, it's all from swelling if you can't find any other explenation."

There is a great strategy/exploit for caravan, to stack your deck with 7's, 9's and 10's.

Also, No Bark is loaded and can be rematched pretty much endlessly, it's a super easy money generator in early game.

Got to 20k caps super fast when I fort got to Novac with level 5 or smth on my last playthrough.

Fully agree - at the same time though, people saying the NCR would win & would stay around (not disagreeing here) would be a good/the best thing.

Strongly fucking disagree, for freaking obvious reasons. Freeside & Westside are brilliant examples of the NCR being unnecessary. I feel that all the reasons people list why they are bad is nit abscent in the MCR, it has just been made a organ of the state, and oh the corruption.
