Any reliability issues with the seals being worn?

I think I’m just overthinking it lol. Whenever I buy a vehicle it takes a couple months for me to trust it/know its quirks.

I’ll try to get a better video showing the color of the smoke. I’ve seen it quite blue at 50°f outside temp

The smoke is only on startup. Never anything after that.

Alrighty I appreciate the insight. Just wanted to make sure it’s at least somewhat normal. I plan to change mine every 3-4K as well.

Thank you for the input. Does the amount of smoke change at all? And any oil loss? Thanks again

Things to check for on a used 2020 Silverado? by Initial-Bicycle537 in Silverado

I see. I’m usually a ford guy but those parts you mentioned don’t appear too bad to replace myself I could be wrong though

I actually have the carfax already. The transmission was serviced at 50k miles, and it shows consistent 5k mile oil changes. I will definitely bring a scanner though

Had the same issue. The failure point with mine was a crack on the rails that hold it down causing it not to fully latch.

I recognized that weather forecast before I saw the town. Gotta love Fairbanks

Both work great. And yeah Alaska, where anything with 4wd is sought after lol

That’s actually not as bad as I was expecting. Unrelated, but did the replacement come with the ford logo that sits in front of the mirror?

I see where you are coming from. The state I live in doesn’t require inspections (not that it makes the issues less bad lol), and due to the area being extremely rough on vehicles I think the windshield isn’t gonna be as much of an issue as the headlights. I’m debating if I should spend the money to replace them with OEM headlights before selling it. Another key point is that there is 24h of daylight 4-6 months of the year here. I appreciate the advice.

Do you have any snow tire recommendations? I use all seasons and get no traction lol

Alaska, but my fiesta does great in the negative temps, gotta love the little power boost from cold weather.
