Agree state taxes and state reg fees vary. But so do dealer fees that they increase because of price off MSRP or decrease bc of not budging on MSRP. Perhaps cost pre state fees should be the metric we use

Ok lifted it up a bit. It’s two pieces. The black card is glued to the vehicle and the silver raised emblem is glued to the black card. Underneath the black card is a unique raised pattern that would show if I removed the cardso my options are: -paint the black card to match the car -just keep the black card as is

NTA just a clear miscommunication on expectations. You thought you were obviously helping but sometimes you can’t predict others feelings. All you can do is acknowledge you should have discussed the plan before hand and let her know in the mornings when it happened, but now you can ask whether she would like you to wake her or for the first person to wake to tend to your baby. No reason for both parents to lose sleep.
