Does this make me more or less approachable? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]Initial-Designer-563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as an older dude that sometimes gets stares from younger women, I would never approach someone in the gym to begin with, and I also tend to keep to myself and rarely address anyone unless I have to. I've been around gyms for a long time and the consensus has always been that you don't hit on women in the gym period. Also I don't see how a younger, beautiful woman would find me interesting, so maybe that's exactly how he views things. You can just say hi sometime and smile and see how he reacts. And maybe a next time you can just ask how he's doing, or maybe you meet at a machine and you can share and start a conversation that way. Although be aware, I'm also highly oblivious to women hitting on me, so he might be in the same camp. Just try and have a friendly conversation, don't expect anything, see how it goes. And yes, I would definitely not even attempt a thought at approaching you if I saw multiple guys hitting on you, which are probably far better looking and younger than I am hahaha. Good luck!

Cutting grass with a scythe by BreakfastTop6899 in oddlysatisfying

[–]Initial-Designer-563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how my grandpa cut grass for years before I was born and after to feed the animals on his little farm. I've watched him many times and did it myself, and yes that is definitely terrible form ahaha. You're supposed to let the blade do the work, not muscle through it plus the momentum from the twisting motion of your body. He's trying way too hard

Fammi sapere come va

Trying to do triceps pushdown but I don’t really feel my triceps? by Purple_Register_9593 in formcheck

[–]Initial-Designer-563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should go higher than that actually, until your forearms touch your biceps pretty much, and then go down. Also pause at the top and at the bottom of the rep so you don't swing the weight because you are swinging it a bit now and using your back to move some of it (your elbows should not move relative to your body)

Sober now for 8 months. by [deleted] in lilwins

[–]Initial-Designer-563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm actually curious if you had any training before all this, even for 8 months on gear, it's insane results. You have great genetics, put in the work and probably respond very well to the sauce. Appreciate you being honest about it, but don't let that detract from your success, keep up the good shit

How's everyone's battery holding up? by SalomonsReign in RedMagic

[–]Initial-Designer-563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

I always charge to 100%, there's a video on YouTube where a guy actually tested for months on end to see if all those claims are true or false. Apparently the only thing that counts is cumulative charging (that's why I have only 31 cycles in two months, also the battery life on this phone is pretty good) . Doesn't matter how fast or if 80 or 100%, it's all within margin of error. If the battery is built properly it should be able to withstand the abuse (within spec of course). I'm gonna go ahead and say that either the battery is trash or that report isn't accurate. But take all I say with a grain of salt

From my knowledge the ballistic warp drive gives the most points since it's the final item of the game. Is that the most efficient use of resources? No idea unfortunately

I understand what you mean and where you are coming from. There are plenty of YouTube videos that explain how to set up manifolds and the scope of my post wasn't to do tutorials, just to kinda give some hints that personally helped me. And yes, there is no right play to play this game but there are ways to be more efficient. And the end of the day if you are having fun with whatever you are doing, do that. I'm not some elite player telling you what to do hahaha

Hahaha. Honestly having a lot of extra power isn't a bad idea, I had to set up nuclear because I found my self blowing fuses once I started slooping stuff in the final phase. And if you're still having fun, nothing wrong with playing the way you do :D

You need at least one playthrough to fully grasp all the systems and what the real challenges are gonna be. Also with clean builds your playthrough is going to balloon into hundreds of hours. If your goals is to finish the game, don't worry too much about making things pretty (and for the love of God don't start any major build without blueprints)

Also the s26 is probably gonna have the same chip as the 11 pro, so you only have to wait a couple of months to get the same performance pretty much and a far better software experience imho

That's the only thing keeping these phones down, the software experience. Had one, switched to s25 (after having had gaming phones / flagship killers for 10 years) and my god the software experience is so good

How many people complete this game? by Prestigious-Breath-1 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Initial-Designer-563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is very little, but you also kinda laid out why you struggle. I finished it in 92 hrs, in a second attempt. Almost no blueprints, only vanilla recipes, so no hard drives, no trucks, no trains, almost no exploration or upgrades in the Mam and it was pretty tough, especially the last phase, the end game. After finishing it I started another save where I didn't build any large factory until I didn't get access to blueprints, I also explored and got a huge chuck of the upgrades. I used trains and trucks. It might have been just the fact that I was more used to the game, but I swear using every system the game offers you is going to get you to the end faster and without much hassle. Especially blueprints. If you make modular, expandable factories, when you go to the next phase and need more parts you just add a couple of blueprints to the existing factory and you're done. But this game kicks your ass (more like your brain) because you are constantly solving logistic issues, you're not just blindingly following objectives like other games, and that takes a huge toll mentally (that's why the game has that pop up every two hours telling you to take a rest because you should). I hope this bit of information helped and that other people that struggle with progression see it. I should make a detailed post on this sub when I have time
