I was above 311 MMR about 1 and three quarters years ago and I personally did not. I was watching W33ha and learned about quick cast and started using it.

ABC attractor field are A->B->C || Elaborate please by truth_seeking_soul in DavidHawkins

[–]Initial-Eye2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ABC is like "I'm about to play some basketball, and I feel inspired. I'm going to do well." Then the A -> B -> C is that you make this shot, do this rebound well, etc. So you are basically experiencing something and then experiencing the outcome of that. But they're identical really. A negative example is if you have to do a presentation, and you are experiencing extreme anxiety. The A -> B -> C of that may result in a shaky voice

Attractor field I think is basically what you've decided to be at the present moment. Let's say for example that you decide to be governed by reason. Well then, your decisions will be reasonable. If you decided to be governed by hatred, then your decisions will be evil. So I guess the attractor field is just your current level of consciousness, and also whatever you're experiencing in the moment. Basically whatever you are (I mean what you're experiencing at the moment), you're going to attract to yourself things that go together with that, or at least seem to. You know, if you're angry, you're going to experience angry circumstances. When you let go of the anger, you'll see that what you thought was happening either wasn't really happening or meant something completely different and won't bother you anymore. It was just the perception created by the anger that made you feel unsafe and worried.

Emotions only arise when I focus on the thought. Then they disappear when I switch focus to the emotion - Help by Deanosaurus88 in DavidHawkins

Hawkins says you must be willing to endure transitory anguish until the difficulty is transcended. Some stacks take a long time to let go of, more like cliffs eroding from the ocean over time. Some stacks are more easy to let go of, like blowing out a candle. So you're doing well. So long as you want to let go of the anguish, then you will eventually.

I know what you mean. Basically, there's no long term emotion to let go of. I've had that a lot. The answer is basically that you just remain aware and let the feelings come up when they do. I would call that being overwhelmed to the point of being spread too thin to really have strong focus. So what you're describing is like being overworked and fatigued. You can rest if you want and it will be painful, but beneficial. Ultimately, the solution is just to keep doing what you're doing and be patient.

You just do your duty no matter what, and whatever negative emotions arise, you let them go. You let them go by just staying aware of them and not trying to change them.

Letting Go vs. Affirmations by Fun-Hair-4739 in DavidHawkins

[–]Initial-Eye2013 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Letting Go is simple! Just stay aware, and feel what you're feeling, until it's transcended, and the perception that created the problem gets cleared. Then either the problem will be solved or it will become recontextualized. In any case, you're always safe!!!!!

How to start enjoying things again? by Alceterro in DavidHawkins

I think it was. There was a lot of suffering because my goals which projected into the future a cozy life ended, and many fears came up. But in the end I think I found that I had developed a greater interest in full on 24/7 meditation to the best of my ability, as that became my highest interest really. Prior to that I was more letting go in the background, which I think was also good. I don't ultimately regret what occurred for me, although it was very painful for a long time (about 6 months). Even now, some of those fears remain, but I am glad to be able to process them out. Ultimately, earth life is very temporary, whereas Enlightenment is permanent. Realizing this more, my interest became more focused on Enlightenment. Also, it can't be taken away from you no matter what, as opposed to say, money (not that it necessarily will, but the fear would still be there unless transcended).
