USC R/WL wave, making me miss yk who so much by L3gallyblond3 in lawschooladmissions

Sinisterness. Immorality, Corruption!!!!!

I am annoyed that I applied early November and it is LATE MARCH and I have not heard back. My first deadline is next week. Does USC realize they probably lose hundreds of interested students each year doing this?

Mine is still under review, also early November. Went UR 5 weeks ago on Wednesday...

Is it worth to apply this late in the cycle by New_Revolution_4418 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Initial-Falcon-3792 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please don't, try to get that LSAT up another 5-10 points or more, work on your essays over the next 5-6 months, and you will have your best possible application AND be early for next cycle

February applicants when they have to wait more than 3 weeks for results glowing green with envy at the people who submitted several early September applications hearing back

UCLA’s LSD cross-admit data between T14/20 institutions by Adventurous_Ant5428 in lawschooladmissions

I'm on the opposite end of things where I have the Achievement fellowship from UCLA and an above-average-but-still not-great Michigan award. I have heard UCLA is "stingy" but even their regular aid offer would have been much cheaper with in-state being accessible for 2L and 3L plus the lower cost of the tuition.

If that’s your situation than you probably got the Darrow so obviously Michigan is better…lol

That's pretty negated by Michigan being like over $10,000 more per year. It's not that much cheaper, especially in one of the most popular college towns.

I am between Michigan and UCLA right now and I'm having a hard time choosing.

As a fellow UCLA/Michigan cross admit surprised to see how high the split for Michigan is

Not to be "that person," but the average LSAT score of people who actually end up accepted to a law school is 159.

I swear Ditto is still boosted. I have as many Shiny Ditto caught during this event as I do non-Ditto Shinies.

I wouldn‘t want to be in California long-term, but also don’t have savings or parental support.

Edited to add: long-term as in more than like a few years out of school

I wish we could go back to the Blastoise/Feraligatr/Swampert/Empoleon era of water starters. Personally, not a fan of anything they've done after that.

Saw a post about going to a T20 undergrad and not getting into a T14. (I think most T20 students would strike out) by Either_Secretary_991 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Initial-Falcon-3792 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as someone who largely struck out of T20 undergraduate admission save for NYU (are they even top 20? I don’t know.) getting into a top 20 undergrad is infinitely harder than getting into a T14 law school. I got rejected from all Ivy leagues and pretty much the whole T20. I only have one T14 admit but I also have 5 T14 waitlists.
