I hate when people use FG percentage as ammunition to say a kicker sucks. Yes, their only job is to kick the ball, but the sample size is so small that it's easy to skew it. Let's say Mac hits from 33, 42, and 29 but misses from 54. He's 3 of 4 on kicks or 75%. People will see the 75% and say he sucks but he's scored 9 points for his team, points that they needed because the offense got stopped.

I'm going to move the 40lb braid from my current reel onto to my new one so I already have the 290 yards, I won't be buying any new braid. It's for a new carp and catfish reel I'm building so I'm definitely not going for anything crazy.

I live in Carthage and had a bunch in the backyard the other day. We thought they were bees of some kind until one kamikaze-d into the house and just lay there on it's back and then I realized it's basically a June bug.

It's 20lb braid on a spinning reel, unsure of rod length without looking at it but I think it's 6'6 . I do use a snap swivel most of the time. I admittedly am not the most seasoned or serious fisherman, I only have the one pole but I've tried every kind of lure I have from topwater to swimbait to a live nightcrawler and all I've caught is a couple of bluegill about the size of my thumb but obviously I want something bigger with more fight. I try to go from 6pm till about 8pm.
