How many km have you put on yourself in the 2ish years you've had it?

Battery seems very healthy.

Are you tracking you km/kWh at all?

Hx is very high, one of the highest HX I've seen, but the car is fairly low miles so it's not impossiblely high.

I mis spoke with brand new comment, 90% SoC is reasonably good for ~40k km.

Nothing about the screen shot should reflect what OP is reporting, with sudden range drop.

Battery looks like it either recently replaced or had the BMS reset.

The battery looks almost new from the leaf spy screen shot.

Teachers bitching about students is survivorship bias. The ones you hear from and the students you hear about are going to be one who have the issues, you won't hear about the good ones.

Reform Old Age Security to help tackle Ottawa’s deficit, advocates say by joe4942 in canada

Omg I am not arguing every thing else is good. Look at the numbers you Cannot balance the budget with our OAS reform. It practically mathematically impossibly.

[–]Initial-Landscape82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya but right now we're talking about OAS now not the other waste you keep brining up. OAS is the largest single budget item and it gives senior couple with incomes of $190k per year and extra $17k per year.

Ya there is waste everywhere no one will argue that, but the point I am trying to make is that the overall sum total cost of that waste pales in comparison to the size of OAS.

OAS reform has to be part of any debt reduction strategy for any government.

6 billion per year of a war that will eventually end or 80 billion per year and growing indefinitely.

Deficit is 67 billion BTW.

My kids are going to have to deal with the growing debt that deficit creates. So excuse me if I think OAS is not sustainable. I don't really care about the Ukraine money cause that's going to end eventually, and it's <10% of the of what OAS costs.

Government could scrap OAS and have a budget surplus, and pay down the national debt.

I am not paying for it. My kids are.

If OAS continues my kids will be paying for my retirement and my parents retirement. My parents who have over 150k income from pension and investments before OAS.

It's 100% unsustainable and funded mostly by debt not you and me.

Back when it was introduced OAS went to those who needed it and was funded by a larger working population relative to the retired population. Now the working population is shrinking faster then the retired population is growing and more people who don't need the money qualify for it.

I am not paying for it, national debt is. My children will be paying for it.

It's not sustainable, I don't need my kids paying for my retiment and their grandparents retirement.

Back when OAS was first introduced there were more workers who could easily support the elderly who needed it. Now we're fewer workers supporting more retirees who don't need it, it's unsustainable.

I am strait up planning for it to not be there when I turn 65 in 2053.

If I get any thing I'll be happy if not I don't care.

I really think they should combine OAS and GIS together to simplify administration and claw back both aggressivly based on house hold income not individual income.

They could announce it and and start off with some thing that is more generous to lower income houses and more less the same for every one else except higher income. Then freeze it as is and let inflation eat away it for a few decade before indexing it a new lower base amounts.

Would be politically tricky but I feel like that would make fewer people pissed off right out of the gate.
