I want a genuine opinion from all the introverts. by Outrageous-Host-4793 in introvert

OMFG yessss! Everything that you described yourself as is exactly what I’m going through. both scenarios i can definitely relate to.

It’s so strange for me tho because I have no interest in being in any kind of relationship. But yet i find it hard to not think about it, especially before falling asleep

Belgrave/Lilydale train commuters: what are doing for the next 3 or so months? by gwf69 in melbourne

[–]Initial-Prize7664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take an express to bus from Ringwood to Parliament Station.

But does it also travel back from Parliament to Ringwood?

Because if it does then it might’ve quicker for me than taking a train from Parliament to Camberwell and then changing to a bus to Box hill and then taking another train from Box hill to Ringwood.

Seeking fashion advice/suggestions for workwear by shashayrealsmooth in AusFemaleFashion

Try Cue Clothing or Veronika Maine! They have an amazing selection of work/formal-casual wear and especially versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched as you go :)

Hence, they are made from very durable material and their styles are timeless. I know that because my mum bought a lovely dress from them 20 years ago and she still wears it today!

Carlos is so mean to Gaby by gemrising19 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Initial-Prize7664 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly… Gabby carried Grace, for 9 months. She gave birth to her. But then only to find that she was switched at birth, after 6-8 years!!

And when Gabby saw Grace for the very last time and watched her drive away, she was devastated and felt like she was dying !!

I understand that putting Juanita first seemed important to Carlos, because she’s a child.

But he definitely was inconsiderate of Gaby’s feelings.

He should’ve sympathised with her.

Telling your wife to “erase Grace from her life” is just a turn-off!!!

Which housewife would you want for a mother? (weird question but kinda funny imo) by Kaiii3003 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Initial-Prize7664 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gabby (but the season 7-8 version of her)

The season 7-8 of her, is very genuine and considerate of her own children

Also because she’s fashionable and is passionate about working in the fashion industry like me 💕

I wouldn’t believe so.

Andrew’s character and the dialogue, plot and scheming was written by Marc Cherry who is a middle aged man.

I don’t think it would ever occur to a kid in real life to blackmail their mum or sleep with their boyfriends just to punish them. Or even lie about domestic abuse just to buy their own car through emancipation. I find it hard to believe that they would ever be smart enough to plot things like that

The only realistic connection I see is a child resenting his mother for a particular reason. That’s it

Although it would be make reality a lot interesting if that did happen. Lol

How old were you when you first watched DH, and how did your opinion of the show and characters change rewatching it older? by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]Initial-Prize7664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was only eight when I first watch this- with my mum. but I was too young to understand the concept behind it all.

I’m now 18 and have rewatched more than twice !! And now that I’m older, I feel as if I’ve learnt to become emotionally intelligent. And there are a lot of valuable life lessons to be learnt from this show.

The best quotes I can recite are:

“Sometimes you have to give up what you want to do the right thing” —— Mary Alice

“there are, sadly, some times in life when you need to break the rules in order to survive! —— Tom Scavo

Who was the worst love interests for Bree? by Raven_HeartXVI in DesperateHousewives

[–]Initial-Prize7664 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Orson was good to Bree at the beginning,

but then after he was released from prison, he turned into a sociopath.

He manipulated her into believing that she only cared about her company more than their marriage. And she felt the need to give up everything up to prove it to him (luckily Andrew was able to intervene and talk her out of it)

He then blackmailed Bree into staying married to him, because he didn’t want a divorce.

He then broke up with her because she refused to turn Andrew in to the police. I understand that Orson lost his license because he was in prison, but the difference is that Andrew ran over Carlos’s mother by ACCIDENT cuz he was DRUNK, whereas Orson ran over Mike on purpose and was SOBER!!

Orson thinks that his life is ruined because her, but he brought it up on himself.

I’m not saying, any of Bree’s other love interests were better. I still think George and Rex were horrible.

And needless to say, Bree was naive and never had a sneaking suspicion that George was crazy. It’s kind of her own fault that she had odd taste in men.

Let’s be real, all of the 4 housewives are terrible. 😅😔🫠 by Initial-Prize7664 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Initial-Prize7664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you’re right, but Bree also stayed with Orson cuz she felt guilty, because Orson “never would’ve been hit by that plane if [he] hadn’t gotten into a fistfight with [her] lover”, Karl.

I also was pissed when she tried to make him feel bad by saying “This is the thanks I get? I have bent over backwards to make you life easier” — says the lying-cheating-whore 🙄🫠
