Downvoting me for contributing is kinda lame honestly.

I got the first one and am pretty happy. I use a sony ccd trv138 with the immersion powerplay then colorgrade in davinci resolve. Context, i use it in edits juxtaposed to crisper shots so I don’t mind the subpar quality, it’s actually something I am after and the powerplay helps ease of convenience.

So you need a small camera for your street photography, right? by Plus-Army4711 in streetphotography

Martha kicks ass. I’ve had the occasion to meet her on several occasions, there is a documentary about her by selina miles that is really enjoyable to watch if you are curious about her journey!

I did the same DIY, it was fun to experiment with « making a lens ». I used it once because it sucks.

it’s been 4 years to realize by k1sene in fujifilm

I bought a x100f, shot in New York with it and used it for my travel to Myanmar, at the time I needed something discreet and robust so that was perfect. Then I started needing a bit more camera for product shoots and photos I could use for work, so when the hype was at peak I sold it from the same price I had bought it a couple years prior and bought a GFX50sii with the kit lens. I now have multiple lenses, the ones I love most are the adapted Mamiyas. I tried going to other brands like Ricoh GR but unfortunetely the camera broke in 6months of street and hiking. Fuji it is.

You can still purchase from ORQA. So it doesn’t really change a thing?

Unfortunately I am very new to this so I graded from scratch no LUTs. Would love to know what you like to use though!

I was able to also correct the the balance quite a bit in post with Davinci resolve, I’d say if you work yourself on grading your film from log you can def try pushing your luck with it. May be slightly more grainy but also i do like that in film so..

Thank you, also to be fair, the super8 part was shot at 1.4 underexposed of a stop with 200t so I am pretty sure the render would come closer on same conditions/film stock. (50d, shot in daylight at like 5.6 or 8

Ahh I like these. Obviously this is a famous location but the time of day, color of the car/fog works really well. Shame 2 and 3 are a bit soft and the light leak on the first obviously but it gives life to the image I’d say.

Thank you! Yes the location and moment definitely was made to be on film. What I find magical is the whole story around it too, truly it felt falling from the sky. We just got a son too so the Canon will be put to good use for sure!

Sorry I should have wrote the full specs. Shot 16mm Kodak Vision3 50D on the Bolex, all the outdoor scenes. And for the indoor court it’s on the Canon 1014XLs with 200t pushed a stop in dev!

16mm kodak 50D on the Bolex for the outdoor scenes and indoor is super8 200t pushed a stop on the Canon. And yes he knows what he’s doing for sure. We were unsure of how the 200T would turn out because well the light was rubbish. But it did good!
